I'm not really a fan of Brother products. In fact, I have another Brother printer that is useless.   I prefer HP products.  But I love this printer.  Its fast, prints double sided and legal size.  I also like that I do not have to be tethered to the printer in order to print.  Wireless printing is priceless to me.  The set up for me was difficult.  If I had to do it myself I would have rated this 3 stars. However, they have the best customer service and they do not rush you or charge you.  I was on for 30 minutes and they made sure that I was up and running before finalizing the call. Performance No problems love that it prints double sided because it save on paper. Copy Quality Don't expect rich copies. Its not high quality but it's sufficient for what I need. Ink/Paper Use I've had plenty of copiers that use up ink at a rapid pace. This printer does not "drink" ink which makes it a more affordable investment. Ease of Use I say "ok" only because it took a while to get it set up. I did have to call customer support for assistance. They are EXTREMLY helpfu. After it was set up, I've had NO problems and I enjoy the wireless print option. Durability I've had this printer for over 2 years and it's my printer of choice. Design It is big and bulky. You will need to make room for it. I do wish it were a bit smaller as it takes up so much room.

After years of using an ink jet printer and getting disgusted every time I had to replace the color ink cartridges in order to keep using the black ink, I decided a black and white only printer was what I wanted.  From there I did lots of research on laser printers to find one that was highly rated on several sites.  This printer was always recommended.  I also wanted a printer that had a low cost per page for printing and this printer fit the bill at around 1 cent per page.  I debated between 2 printers and ended up going with this one because of its really cool duplex feature, meaning it prints on both sides of the paper automatically so I also save money on paper costs.  My one complaint about this computer is that my husband who does computers for a living could not figure out how to make the wireless feature work on this printer so it is hardwired.  As I am the only one who uses this printer, it's not a big deal.  This is a great printer, it prints fast and well.

This is an excellent all around laser printer. As most people know, ink cartridges for ink jet style printers can cost a small fortunue and don't last very long at all. A laser printer uses a different printing technique which uses toner instead of ink. Toner cartridges may be more expensive up front but they last much longer than your typical ink cartridge. On top of that, Brother toner cartridges are much cheaper than their HP counterparts. This printer has served me well for months and I have no doubt it will last for years to come. You cannot give this printer lower marks for printing only black and white as that is how it is advertised. If you need a color printer for photo prints you should buy a quality injet printer. For documents and other black and white needs, laser can't be beat. It's also worth noting that laser toner is water proof. If water gets on your document it will will be legible. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

The Brother HL-5370DWT is an absolute workhorse!  It is a wonderful, effective, and yet reasonably-priced printer.  I print several sets of documents every day (around 500+ pages total) and this printer has yet to let me down.  It is perfect for what I need it for, and is super FAST. I love the dual trays - I currently have letter in one, and legal in the other.  The trays are a little flimsy, but haven't broken despite months of repeated abuse. It was VERY easy to set up, for both my Mac and my PC.  Love the wireless printing with no router needed! Toner is a little more expensive for it, but lasts so much longer.  It has printed much more than the 25,000 pages the "drum" is supposed to take, and still haven't had any issues with toner excess. My only complaint regarding this printer is the error codes.  It comes with a little sticker to put on the printer for explaining what the blinking lights mean.  I would much rather have a small display with error codes or words.  I don't want to have to figure out what lights mean it's a paper jam and which lights mean your drum is out.  I would rather have it just say it on a display. Overall it is a wonderful printer though, and have saved lots of time with this fast machine.
