After having the same sewing machine for 35 years - Sear Brand. I decided I wanted a new machine that had easier ways to embroidery work.  After reading about many many different machines I settled on the Brother HE-120.  It is a wonderful machine, very easy to use and learn. It does so much. The cost was very reasonable.  It sews beautifully.  Of course using a 35 yr old machine and then moving to the new technology is a big jump.
