I bought the ULT2001 when they first came out.  High price but it has never failed me.  I used to run a small embroidery business in my home embrodiering for teams, businesses and individuals.  I've never used the machine as a sewing machine is primarily been an embrodiery machine to me.  I have a Bernina which I use to do my sewing.

I bought this machine thinking that  I would just pass the time with it doing things for the kids but once I got the machine home and saw how easy it was to use I really fell in love with the machine. The embroidery part of the machine is great. I has a color screen that is big and lets you know what color threads to use and the order of the thread to put in the machine. You can purchase dish to in the embroidery machine but there is so many online that are free to download that I have not had to purchase any yet. The sewing machine part sews great also. The machine has a self threading needle which is great for people that find it hard to thread a needle. I have sewn through six layers of demin (to make a bag) and it sews right though it. It has lots of built in stitches and embroidery fonts. The Brothers web site also has lots of stitches and embroidery patterns to download to this machine too. I will never own anything else but this machine. I am using it now to make things for craft shows.
