This machine is very easy to use. It has clear markings to route the thread. It cuts and overlocks with a professional finish. I like the 4 thread overlock vs. a 3 thread. it also can do a satin like finish and looks nice on childrens wear , or even in crafts. I have one of these sergers and they provide a way to craft professionalism on every home sewn product. You can roll edges, put that nice t-shirt hem on just about anything. I love the trimmer; nothing to 'clean up' after your done. I've lost my book, but I know it does several more things that I have never tried.
