The Brookstone Shiatsu back massager is the best!!  It sets on a chair or sofa and is easy to use and is comfortable.  Unlike some other chair-back massagers this one has a bottom part to sit on and the back is sturdy to lean against.  This massager is wonderful!  I recieved it as a gift and use it almost daily.  At first use it seems a little too deep of a massage, but adjusting how your sitting and leaning helps this, and the next time it's much better.  I have a back injury and lots of muscle spasms in my back and this massage is a great help.  The Brookstone Shiatsu Seat topper Back massager is the top of the line, a little pricey but worth every penny!  It has an attached remote control to change the settings and the on and off switch.  It has Shiatsu multi-directional rotation motion massage. It has just a simple rolling motion massage, and also the width of the massage heads can be adjusted to your comfort level for your size.  You can set the Auto setting and it will do a random massage of all of the types of massage on the controller.  You can also pick upper back, lower back or entire back area to be massaged for any of the massage types.  It really is very versitile.  I definiately would recommend this massager over many of the others I've trialed in stores.
