What began as a brilliant short story in New Yorker magazine evolved into a heart wrenching and thought provoking film.  If this movie isn't evidence that love is love, no matter your gender, socio-economic status or age, I don't know what is.  The movie doesn't just show one side of the story though, but tells the stories of everyone involved.  One of my TOP TEN favorite movies of all time.
