Britney Spears - Blackout Review Summary

Despite Britney’s very public peeling apart, her latest album Blackout has thus far garnered rave reviews from the music world and our community. Dance, Dance, Dance!

The overall review of Spears' new album Blackout is really good. I love every single song on the album. It is really hard for me to sit down and listen to most albums from beginning to end, but this one works. The only slow song on the album is the very last one "Why Should I Be Sad." If listening to all of the songs lyrics, you are really able to see that the songs are about what really is going on in her life. My favorite to-dance-to song would be track number 2. Having seen the video for 'Gimme More' as well as Britney's latest actions, I didn't expect much when I previewed her newest album. britney's back and as good as ever, if not better - musically that is. with all the controversy and very public drama surrounding her, it's a wonder the album didnt become a flop. her album though is very enjoyable with a good amount of dance tracks catchy hooks and beats. the only things britney should stay away from are those slow slow songs where she is required to hold a note. didn't really pay attention to the lyrics, although did catch some, and let's just say not very worthy. otherwise, this album is a definite must buy fans of britney and anyone who enjoys dancing. —… read full review »

In this album she really tells people how she feels and it is hot and cool. — It is up beat and great music for anyone who loves dance music. There are some songs on there that are not so great but that might be one or two of them. Now if she can only get her act together that would be great for her career and kids. I love all of Brit's songs-and i like this Blackout CD-some good beats you can shake your booty to. Slow songs are not as good as her other albums but yet, meaningful. I wish her well-and hope she'll bring that energetic vibe (dancing) back on stage… read full review »
