Although the scheduled flight times and connections for a trip from Los Angeles, CA to Milan, Italy, were convenient, the actual departure times of every single flight were delayed by an hour more. My daughter and her two young children and I sat on the plane on the runway for over an hour and a half at Los Angeles, then again on the connecting flight in London to Milan. On arriving in Milan, the children's car seats (the only luggage we checked) were not on hour flight. Employees told us they would be on the next incoming flight, which was also late; but, the seats were not on the flight. We were assured that they were on the next incoming flight, which was - you guessed it! - late! - but, the seats were finally there. Two weeks later, on the same return route, all the flights were again one and a half or two hours late departing. Also, this past December flights from Glasgow, Scotland, to London, England, and return, it was the same story--LATE! Fortunately, we took a different airline to/from Los Angeles and Glasgow. My family and I thought it was ironic (and sad) that during a recent episode of the Reality TV show "The Amazing Race" one of the racing couples was severely handicapped and left behind because they were on a British Airways flight that was late!
