We bought the Britax Roudabout when my daughter outgrew her infant carrier. I wish I had heard about these carseats sooner. It was a perfect fit. I love the five point harness and the super easy latch system. This carseat also is very user friendly. You can easily adjust the harness with one hand if needed. As my daughter got older she quickly learned how to fasten herself in. After my son was born we bought my daughter another Britax that was bigger. My son used the roundabout from day one and it was perfect. He was well supported in the carseat. He has now used this carseat for two years. We got 4 good years out of one carseat. He now has her bigger Britax (can't remember which one) and we plan to use that one until he moves into a booster. I did my research on carseats and feel that Britax was the safest out there as well as most user friendly. I will never buy another carseat again!

Our Britax Roundabout has survived two children and it still looks just fabo. Prior to purchasing it for our firstborn , we did MONTHS of research and talked to lots of safety people. Everyone concurred: although the Britax was expensive, it was also the safest. That was all we needed to hear to be sold.

When we purchased it, I didn't think to find out how to clean it. It is so very easy to take the entire system apart (takes about three minutes) and throw all of the covering and straps in the washing machine and dryer. We then anti-bacterial scrub the remaining plastic base and it's like our babies have a new carseat!

We still go to car seat safety checks every six months or so and always hear, "Oh, if it's a Britax, we don't even need to check it--it's the best on the market!" You just can't put a price on peace of mind and knowing that your child will be as safe as possible should an accident occur--this has been worth every single penny we paid! and it was definitly worth it .

I did extensive research prior to purchasing a convertible car seat for my daughter. Although many models are much less expensive than the Britax, the combination of reviews I read, the safety features, and my own assessment of the products in the store led me to purchase Britax. My car is a bit older (2000) and does not have the LATCH system, so I was especially concerned about getting a seat that is easy to install securely using only the seatbelt. I specifically chose the Roundabout model because it is the smallest of the Britax seats, and I drive a small sedan (Volvo S40), so the larger models (Marathon, etc.) would not fit into my car in the rear-facing position.

I have been completely satisfied with the Roundabout carseat! The seat is very well-constructed while being a more compact design that works well in my smaller car. The side construction is designed to be safe in crashes but is also shaped so that she can see out of the car window. The 5-point harness system latches and...

I love the car seat. The material is soft and snuggly. It is comfy cozy for my little guy, however, it does not come with comfort covers for the shoulder straps. Because of this they were digging into his neck and shoulders. I had to go out and purchace some myself. For the amount of money you spend on this chair it should come standard.

We purchased the Britax Roundabout car seat for my son when he was around 3 months old. It was rear facing until he was 1 year old and we used it as forward facing until he was 4 years old when we got him a booster seat. I have to say this is the best car seat around. We have numberous family members who have also purchased Britax seats based on our experience and recommendation. It is one of the safest on the market and has impact absorbing foam on the sides. One of my most favorite non safety features is the sides are positioned and sized perfectly to support the child's head when they are sleeping, no floppy head and looks of neck breaking with this seat. I also loved how the cover is easily removed to wash and washes beautifully. Our son did not get anything on the seat that stained it, everything came out in the wash. The seat also has a base that can be tilted some to allow your child a more comfortable position. Overall a great SAFE carseat!

I used Britax Roundabout seats with all 3 of my children. They are the best I've tried... easy to adjust the strap tightness, comfortable, and very secure. Yes, they are definitely more pricey than some seats, but well worth the cost in my opinion.

I purchased the Britax Roundabout last year for my 1 year old daughter, who is now 2.5 and am very pleased with it. The safety ratings are the best on the market which is the most important to me, but it's also an amazing, versatile, user friendly car seat. They have so many colors and patterns to choose from and it is very easy to install (unlike most carseats) and I love that it has an easy, removable, washable cover. It also reclines for long car rides or if your kid falls asleep while in the car. I know they make bigger models but I really like the Roundabout because it both rear faces and forward faces and because it is a lot smaller than most of the car seats on the market. I drive a smaller minivan so it works perfectly for us. I am actually going to put my 1 year old in this car seat (who is currently in the Companion seat from Britax) and buy the Frontier booster seat for my 3 year old. I would highly recommend this car seat and any carseat from Britax for that matter....

The Britax Roundabout is functional and safe without being so big it overwhelms the car and the child. I have no complaints. It is so easy to take in and out of the car safely....

I have had many carseats, the Britax Roudabout is by far my favorite. The seat is reversable, comfortable, not to mention beautiful with many covers to choose from. As far as safety is concerned, I rate it as an A plus. My little ones love their carseats. The only draw back is that they do not come equipt with a cup holder. Other than that, the best out there for the money across the board. This carseat is one which can be passed down from child to child. I will never recomend another carseat over the Britax to any of my friends or relatives. One other positive is that in many carseats, you do not have the ability to remove the cover and wash, all Britax models offer that feature. That is one that is certainly important to me....

When we were making the transition from one child to two, we began looking for a safe smaller carseat to fit inside my smaller car, a Nissan Sentra. I read Britax Roundabout reviews online and found that it was generally well liked. For the moment of installation, I knew I would never own another carseat. It was easy to install, and although it had a smaller base, even when pushing with all my strength, I could not move the carseat an inch. It was easy to fit this seat along side an infant carseat even in the back of my smaller car.

The installation wasn't the only thing about the Britax Roundabout that made me love it. Some additional basic features like adding a small piece of velcro to the shoulder strap and the sides of the seat allow for easy access of the straps when you put your child back in the seat (because they don't sit on the straps!) and this also helps to keep them from getting tangled.

The single downfall of this carseat to me is that I bought my messy two year old the seat...

I love the Britax carseats! I know they may be a bit on the pricey side for some parents, but when you think about the safety of your children, can you really budget that? I have purchased 3 Britax seats and have not had any problems with them. The covers are in cute and fashionable styles and my little ones did not mind being in them for long trips!

I love the Roundabout! We have three of them. My most recent purchase came with the cowmoooooflauge print. It's great. I love it because it's fun, the fabric is soft, the black and white cotrast is attention getting. My first Roundabout had a buckle that I was not impressed with, but the newer models have corrected it. I bought my roundabout because it is one of the safest ones out there. I have found that the pricing is actually reasonable. There are many other more expensive convertible car seats available.

Another things I like about it is the width. It isn't too wide and will fit comfortably in any car.

I did not use it for a newborn, but it could easily be used for a very young baby. When rear -facing it tolts back so that a baby's hear would not flop forward. I transfered my infant to the roundabout at about 8 months and he was able to sleep in the seat without any issues whatsoever.

After having four children over the span of 6 years we have seen our share of car seats. From infant carriers, to convertible car seats to booster seats. We tried many different brands, and styles through those years. This car seat was by far the best car seat we ever used. It was comfortable for the baby, grew with her, attractive to look at, and most importantly was safe. She is still able to use it today, as she is petite- it was worth every penny!
