My breastfed daughter quickly exceeded the weight limitation of her infant seat. I did extensive research on her next seat which would have to be a convertible as she was not old enough to face forward. The Britax Roundabout was without a doubt the best rated seat in government research as well as in consumer reviews. The only downside is the price - but it really is worth every penny. I read some negative reviews that said the plush fabric would get to hot for their children, but I've never had a problem with this. In the hot summer months when my daughter is in shorts, there is a little cushioned flap to ensure her legs don't get pinched by the restraint straps. This is definately the best car seat out there - I won't consider another for my next child.
