Britax Roundabout —
When trying to decide on a car seat for my daughter, we were clueless. Looking was a fiasco with all the different price points, accessories, etc, etc, etc. So, I decided to look online for ratings, and what was a necessity for a car seat to have. After a week of research, we went with the Britax roundabout. I didn't plan, or want, to spend that amount on a car seat, but I looked at it as an investment since she will most likely be in this seat until she hits booster age, and to be honest, can you really put a price on safety. This seat was very east to install. We have a vehicle that does not have the LATCH system, and still had no problem. It reclines great for the rear facing position and the cover is easily removed to clean. My daughter seems very comfortable in it and sleeps well when riding in it (better than her last seat.) We found a variety of colors to compliment any interior, most being plain, not with some horendous print. It has the easy strap to loosen with a button when putting child in, then pulling to tighten. It also has the velcro squares on each side to hold the belts while putting child in, which is a Must have for me! All in all, it is worth every bit of the $219 we paid, I don't regret 1 thing about it!
