Britax Roundabout —
We bought this carseat with my first child. We knew that we were going to have another baby within a few years, so we bought it thinking that the second child would use it after growing out of the infant carseat, and we would get a booster for our older daughter. It has worked out beautifully for us. Our daughter got two and a half years of use from it, then moved into a booster. It is great for smaller babies because you can tilt it back so their heads don't flop forward.I am not crazy about the amount of side impact protection. I would still recommend the seat, though.
