Britax Roundabout Review

Much like every other parent here, when it was time to update my baby from his "infant" car seat, I went to every online review site to see what everyone had to say about the car seats I was interested in. 

From a few local moms in my area, I was told the Britax was the best thing since sliced bread!!  Some of my friends with much older children still kept their Britax for their second child.  I was not satisfied though, I was a mom on a mission and had to satisfy my own opinion of who decides my child uses what and not the other mom's.  During my investigative measures I found that there were some "OFF" reviews about the Britax.  The number one concern was ofcourse the PRICE for what is being offered.  Some people felt that other car seats were COMPARABLE for the money (including having side impact protection); however, every search engine always pulls up the Britax. 

In any case, I decided to narrow it down to the Britax and did my research on just that for about 3-4 weeks.  Given all the information available out there on the net tied with all the great parent reviews of friends who had kept their Britax for years for their other children (let's me that it's durable too), I decided to purchase the Boulevard.  I waited until a couple weeks later for September to arrive (Child safety month) and found a great deal on all the SALES that take place on child protection devices during that time - an insider tip.  Babies R US and a lot of these ONLINE stores have tremendous sales on car seats, strollers, all child protection agents during the month of September for Child Safety Month (also i'm sure they need to clear out their inventory for the new items arriving at the end of the year for the next year's BIG items).

 In any case, I Do LOVE the Boulevard because my son who was VERY uncomfortable in his infant car seat and seemed to cry every where we went would just fall asleep effortlessly in this thing.  It's plush and comfy to the touch.  THe one problem we had was trying to wash the cover when an unforseen accident happened IN it.  The foam flap that's in the head rest seem like it's going to come right off if we wash just ONE more time.
