Britax Regent Review

I am the proud owner of two Britax carseats, and as far as I am concerned, they truly ARE the Cadillac of carseats.

This seat was almost too easy to install. It was so simple, I felt like that couldn't possibly be "it". But it was! The LATCH connectors have clicks similar to seatbelts, and easy to pull straps. I'm confident that the seat is installed properly, and it's not difficult to remove and install quick in another car, if need be. The tether anchor was also much easier to hook up than I anticipated. It's a great safety feature that only Britax has. The seat is large, but does not take up the entire back seat. With this seat, and baby's Marathon, there is still room for a passenger in the middle.

Some other things I LOVE about this seat:

I haven't seen one manufacturer meet Britax with the quality of the straps and harness. The shoulder straps are thick and wide. They don't fold up on themselves or get tangled. They are also wide across your child's shoulders.

This seat is LARGE, but doesn't over-do it. My 5 year old sits comfortably and safely. He cannot lean out of the seat and when he falls asleep in the car, he is held upward and snugly.Some people might complain that the seat is too big, or hard to move around... but to me, I am willing to sacrifice some time moving it around and installing it in order for m child to be safe in the event of an accident. Also, I don't mve it around much, so it's not a big deal to me.

I also dislike that itydoesn't have a cupholder. Luckly, I was able to find a center console that belts into the back seat for around $20.00 so it's now a non-issue.

Britax out-performs other carseats all around, and their crash ratings are impeccable. Not only are my kids riding in STYLE, but in the utmost comfort and safety- and that puts my mind at ease in the front seat. I am a fan for LIFE!!!
