Have you ever seen the 5 point harness videos? If not search it and you will know that your kids should be in 5 point harnesses for as long as possible. How long is possible? With the Britax Regent you can use a 5 point harness till 80 pounds! That give you more protection than most seats out there. Actually there is only about 3 other companies that can even offer a comparison. Car seats and booster seats are not made equally. A child that is in a booster with a seat belt is not riding very safe. In a 5 point harness they have major protection in the event of a accident. You may never need a 5 point harness but if you are ever in accident you don't want to regret saving $50. I am a informed parent that budget shops to survive. I knew that I had to spend more for these seats but how can you put a price tag on your childs life? I lowered my spending in other areas and got the seats that my kids deserve. My son is almost 6 years old and never complains about his Britax Regent. The straps never tangle and it is a very comfortable seat. I will switch my other son to one very soon. He is riding in a Britax Boulevard.
