Britax Regent Car Seat Review

Summary
This is a great car seat for a 2-4 year old outgrowing their normal car seat. Personally, I am not a fan of the booster for a child this young-- they seem to test their limits around sitting. If you want to keep your toddler in a 5 point harness this is one of the only options available-- but a very good one.

Highlights

• The seat is very large and plush. Unlike several other toddler seats, you can actually see out the window and still maintain all the safety features.
• If you have a small car, you should check the dimensions because it may not fit. One of our cars is a Toyota Corolla and you can fit two in the backseat with only inches to spare between
• The color scheme is quite nice for a car seat; I appreciate that it is not a Hawaiian pattern
• The initial installation took a while. After we figured out how to do it, it literally takes minutes to get it in and out.
• I find the car seat large and cumbersome. So, I would not recommend that you travel with it. If vacationing, I would take our Britax Parkway.
• The car seat is set to support kids 22-80 pounds. Wow!

Tips
Order the car seat far in advance of the time that you need it. Since a recent research study came out saying that you should keep kids in a 5 point harness as long as possible, the demand has gone way up. It took nearly 4 months for my two to arrive.
