Great car seat-- for a child over 2

mom of 2, owner of large and small car, parent of toddlers, frequent driver, safety conscious

I did a lot of research upfront to find a find a booster seat that was good for a child over forty pounds but only 2-3 years old. This car seat consistently came up in my searches as one of the best car seats on the market. I have to admit, that I liked the pricetag of $100 (one of the cheapest Britax seats available) and I loved the fact that it was super easy to install and very light (even for a light weight mom like me!) So, I quickly ran to the store and picked one up. It met all of my expectations. It was in fact easy to install, it was normal colors/patterns, it was extra light weight, lean in it's frame, had good padding and nice safety features for side impact. The only downside is that it attaches through the seat belt so there is no 5 point harness. My son has managed his way out of the seat belt a few times, so I would recommend this car seat for older children. But, overall, a great car seat-- especially for the price.
