Britax Marathon Review

I am the proud owner of two Britax carseats, and as far as I am concerned, they truly ARE the Cadillac of carseats.

This seat was almost too easy to install. It was so simple, I felt like that couldn't possibly be "it". But it was! The LATCH connectors have clicks similar to seatbelts, and easy to pull straps. I'm confident that the seat is installed properly, and it's not difficult to remove and install quick in another car, if need be. The tether anchor was also much easier to hook up than I anticipated. It's a great safety feature that only Britax has. The seat is large, but does not take up the entire back seat. With this seat, and my 5 year olds Regent, there is still room for a passenger in the middle.

Some other things I LOVE about this seat:

I haven't seen one manufacturer meet Britax with the quality of the straps and harness. The shoulder straps are thick and wide. They don't fold up on themselves or get tangled. They are also wide across your child's shoulders.

You can rear-face up to 35 pounds!!! If you have done your research, you would know that it is important to keep your child rear facing for as long as possible. My son was 23 pound at six months old- and we had a tough time finding a seat that was worth buying after is infant seat, as everything would have been too small. Thank GOD for my Marathon!

Britax out-performs other carseats all around, and their crash ratings are impeccable. Not only are my kids riding in STYLE, but in the utmost comfort and safety- and that puts my mind at ease in the front seat. I am a fan for LIFE!!!
