I did TONS of research before buying this car seat!  My 3 1/2 year old had grown too big for his Britax Roundabout (loved that seat!) and there was NO WAY I was putting him in a booster seat.  I was originally planning on buying the Britax Regent, but when we got to the store I realized how big it actually was and my little guy just looked too small in it for me.  I didn't feel that he would be as comfortable or safe in it.  The Marathon will allow him to stay in the 5 point harness until he is 65 pounds, and by then he will be big enough for the Regent (or whatever may come out better by then).  This seat is just his size and when he falls asleep in the car he can still rest his head on the side, which wouldn't have been possible in the Regent.  It literally took me less than a minute to hook it up with the Latch system and tether straps and it doesn't move at all.  It is a little larger, but it fits fine in a Grand Caravan and Expedition.  You simply can't beat the safety and comfort of this seat, and your child is SO worth it!
