Britax Marathon Review

I can't say enough about the Britax Marathon.  Honestly, I don't know how someone could see it and feel it and then go with another seat.  I have 3 year old twins and we've had these seats for over 2 years, and they still look perfect. 

 Safety- take a look at ANY safety testing (I recommend Consumer Reports of course) and you'll see that Britax is above and beyond.

 Ease of use:  it doesn't get much easier.  We have some "cheaper" seats that the grandparents use.  YOu practically have to wrestle them in.  These Britax seats are so easy.  And, once they're in and tightened, they do NOT come loose.

Kid friendly:  I love the piece on the buckle that keeps kids from getting pinched legs.  My kids have BOTH had pinched legs in their grandparent's seats but Britax prevents that.  These seats are also blanket soft and not itchy like others.  Most importantly, my kids can't unbuckle the main buckle at all.  Also, it holds kids forever, since the height/weight limit is so big.

The only downfall, and it's not enough to take away a star, is that this seat is VERY big.  I'd suggest trying it out in your car if at all possible.  It's not much of a problem if your child is front facing but rear facing, these are quite big.  However, it's worth having to have the extra space for safety reasons alone, let alone the ease of use and the comfort.
