best safety features, can be used rear-facing for newborn, Comes out of the wash like BRAND NEW!, My 4.5 YO still can't escape!, Easy to install/uninstall, Comfortable for long car trips, Well-rated, can be used until 65 lbs.

We have usd the roundabout and the marathon--I recommend spending the extra 40-ish dollars and buy the marathon, which lasts longer. It can be used rear-facing and forward facing, so it can be used for many years, and costs less than buying a booster later as well. We tried boosters for our son after he outgrew the roundabout, and he could not get comfortable in any of them. We then purchased the marathon, which is designed similar to the roundabout, and he is comfortable again. I will use this for our daughter when she has reached the weight limit for her carrier also. We also travel extensively, we are a military family, so through 11 moves in 4 states, and literally driving from coast to coast in 10 days on more than one occasion, I can attest that this is very comfortable for kids. Our son has never complained about being uncomfortable in this seat, but has about other ones.
