I just purchased the Frontier and installed it in my car. This is my 5th Britax car seat, I have had 3 Marathons and one Parkway. I notice several people complain about ease of install on the Frontier, and I have one thing to say. READ THE MANUAL!!! I skimmed the manual when I got it, figuring that LATCH installation would be similar to all the other Britax seats I have had. After strugging with it for a while, I went back to the manual and discovered - it isn't. The LATCH buckles are recessed into the body of the seat, which makes it impossible to tighten the conventional way one tightens a Marathon...

I purchased this carseat in May 2009. My daughter was 3 at the time and would frequently get car sick. We decided to change from a convertible seat to a high back booster in hopes that it would help with her sickness. I researched both the Britax Frontier and the Graco Nautilus. My daughter tried them both out at the store and preferred the Frontier. I felt the nautilus, although it had a high weight limit, would not be comfortable for her. It seemed much narrower than the Frontier. My daughter filled the seat at 32 lbs and I couldn't imagine her being in it until she is at the maximum weight.We...

In searching for a new car seat for my almost 4 year old daughter, I had to weigh out all options being that I am having another (#3) baby in October.  We had her in a Britax (either Diplomat or Marathon) and wanted to stay with a Britax because they definitely seem to be the safest seat out there according to reviews.  I wanted her to be able to stay in the seat for a while, so in looking into things, decided on the Britax Frontier.  It's a great booster seat with 5 pt harness to I think 60 lbs.  Safety is my first concern, so I was not comfortable putting her in a traditional booster seat. ...

I use this carseat for my four year old daughter, who still weighs around 30 pounds. This carseat is so awesome! Totally worth the money! I love the side-impact protection and the 5-point restraint system. It also has a wide range adjustment for height, so we'll definitely get a couple of years out of this seat. The Frontier is thickly padded for comfort, and you can take the padding (and cover) out to wash in case of spills, potty accidents, etc.  My daughter likes the cupholders that are on each side of the seat and the movable arm rests. It also comes in some cute colors, but we decided on...

I love this car seat!  My 4 year old is still under 40 pounds and I didn't wish to go to a booster seat since I want her to have complete protection in case of an accident.  The Britax line offers the best options I have found.  The Frontier looks like a booster seat - she feels like a big girl with her arm rests that go up and down and cup holder.  As a mommy, I am thrilled that she is still in a 5-point harness with side impact protection.  I feel like this seat is an excellent compromise!

We have a big girl and at only 3 1/2 she had outgrown every 5 point harness on car seats, except for the Frontier.  She is tall, but wasn't ready for just a booster.  This has given us more time in a 5 point harness and allows her to nap, which happens a lot on long trips.  She is comfortable and loves her pink car seat.  The arm rests and cup holder makes her feel so big!  The head moves up and down and provides a custom fit for your child.  Easy to install!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
