Although I am a budget concious person, no product can be too expensive when it comes to the safety of my little one! We love this car seat. At first I saw the price and freaked, but once I researched it and saw it was worth every penny. How can you put a price on your child's safety? It has the highest weigh limit both rear (35 lbs.) and forward face (65 lbs.) that I have found.With my other kids I have to turn them around before they were 12 months, because of size and weight. I thoroughly reviewed convertible carseats before deciding to get the Britax Decathlon.  My sister had one and loved it, so this helped.  Plus the reviews online for this were great.  It's expensive though but since it lasts until your kid is about 6, I felt that even though it was a lot of money up front, it would be worth it.  Here is a tip as well...if you don't care about the color you can get this car seat for about $180.00 shipped.
