We got this car seat as a replacement for our Graco SnugRide. I really thought that we were going to hate loosing the convenience of just popping the carrier out of the base and carrying our daughter in without disturbing her, especially when she falls asleep. The truth is that she's so much more comfortable in the Britax than she ever was in the Graco that she sacks out completely and almost never wakes up when we take her out. Being somewhat safety obsessed, we kept her car seat in a rear-facing position until just before her 3rd birthday. In the end, the decision to turn it around wasn't based on concerns about her comfort (she never once complained) but was instead because we were taking a long road trip and wanted to invite her to be more directly involved in the trip and more aware of the landscape.

My parents have a Graco Comfort Sport in their car for her. The Britax is so much easier to install that we usually leave the Graco installed in mom's car and move ours if dad wants to take his granddaughter anywhere. I find that the adjustments on the Britax are also so much easier and that she is so much more comfortable in the Britax than she is in the Graco or in the Evenflo Triumph in my friend's car. With the Graco, especially, I just feel like it's so difficult to get the straps adjusted right that it always seems as though her straps are too loose or too tight.

I really think that the Britax was one of the best baby equipment investments that we made.
