I love the Boulevard's side impact protection. It seems to be the safest option as far as carseats go. The fabric comes clean in the washer, which is good for us because our daughter is very messy. A big plus also is that with most carseats, they need to be replaced after 5 years. The Britax brand is good for 10 years. The only thing negative I could say is that it is rather big and although my little one does not complain, the crotch strap is kind of tight. Over all a very good product. We will be buying another one for our other child.
...

I have this seat for my two and a half year old son, and I love it. We bought it when he was 9 months old because he outgrew his infant seat, and I am VERY pleased that this seat allows for a higher rear-facing weight limit. Britax was the first company to do this and I think it's great because personally I do not think the minimum 1 year and 20 pounds is good enough, so I wanted to follow car seat expert's advice by keeping him rear-facing as long as possible. This seat allowed me to do that much longer than any other seat I had seen at the time. It is very simple to install and easy to clip him into. I feel better about all of Britax's seats since they do more extensive testing than other car seat manufacturers, but this seat is especially nice because it has side-impact protection. The wing-looking things that are at the top of the seat where the head rests are VERY thick and hard to help protect the child's head in a side impact crash. You almost can't even move them because they are...
...

Forget all other carseats and get the Boulevard. I support all Britax models, but this one is the best. After my car was totaled in an accident, my 2 month old son (who was IN the car and in a Britax Marathon) was upgraded by our insurance to the Boulevard. Don't get me wrong, the Marathon worked wonders (not a scratch on the baby) but the Boulvard provides the extra safety features that I prefer to now have. These seats carry my most precious cargo, and expense should not be a consideration when choosing the best car seat.
...

I love the Britax Boulevard. We got it for my preemie daughter a few years ago and now my newborn is in it. It is a comfortable seat with lots of extra padding. It is rated really high with safety also. The best part is that it is SO simple to install. The clips for the latch system are really easy to just snap in and tighten up. It is the easiest seat I have ever put in. It tightens up really nicely. We did pay quite a bit for this seat, but we have gotten every pennys worth out of it. We also have two graco seats (we have 4 kids), and the graco seats are nice, but were much cheaper and you can definitely tell the difference. They just don't have as much padding and aren't as easy to install. They work just fine though. Another thing about this car seat is that it goes rear facing and goes up to 65 pounds, so it is a seat that will definitely be long lasting. My kids get really big early on, so the higher weight limit is important to me.
...

The Britax Boulevard car seat is very easy to install whether you are using it rear or forward facing. It is always very stable with the latch system or if using a seat belt to secure it. It never rocks or slides around in the car. In addition it is very comfortable for my son and is attractive as well. I purchased this car seat based on safety reviews and am very pleased with how easy it is to install when I have to transfer it to other vehicles. The latches and the body harness straps on this car seat also make a very loud and clear sound when they are hooked onto the car and around my son which gives me peace of mind that it is securely fastened. They are very sturdy and my son has never been able to unlatch himself even though he tries every time he is in his car seat. I also love that this car seat is very easy to clean. I simply remove the cover and throw it in the washing machine. Once it is clean it very easily fits back onto the car seat and has not shown any...
...

The Britax Boulevard carseat is my favoriate convertable car seat. It is safe and reliable. Has true side impact safety. My daughter who is 27lbs and 26months is still rearfacing and will be until she reaches the max weight limit for the seat in the rearfacing position. I also have a 6month old who is alsoy in this seat. The boulevard is narrow enough for cars yet spacious enough for comfort. Has a nice incline so when they sleep thier heads are not flpped forward. The Latch system is easy to use with just a push of the button to release. The straps stay to the side with velcro when noone is in the seat. Making them not tangle up. My daughters have no problems with the seat and enjoy riding in it together. One of my favorite features is the side impact for their head. It moves with them as they grow to continue to protct their heads. There is also no rethreading the straps. You are albe to turn a nob to make the straps go up or down. Tighten the straps by the...
...

The Britax Boulevard came to me recommended from a friend who knows a German engineer. She said that he, and all his German Engineer friends only use this seat for their children. I found in all of my own research that it does have a very high safety rating. A lot of the "travel systems" with the detachable base have disconnected from the base in actual accidents, as opposed to the crash-tests that they publish the research from. We dicided to go with the one-piece Boulevard instead of one of those types for this reason. I had a little trouble learning how to install it at first but I do have "mommy brain" so everything is more difficult for me to learn these days : ) After about 3 installs, I had it down. I have been a little bit apprehensive about installing it in cars with smaller back seats because the Boulevard is long from front to back and in order to have the seat at the manufaturer's suggested angle (45-60 degrees), you have to push the seat in front WAY forward. In our......

We bought our first one when our first child, whom is a very big kid, couldn't fit into his infant seat anymore. The first car ride we took with it was amazing. It was like he could 'breathe' in this seat. The Boulevard was our answer to an extremely fussy traveler! The head protection feature works great for a head rest for a napping baby/ toddler, so they don't have that droopy head that keeps waking them up. And the extra padding for infant padding is a very nice feature. When it comes to maintenance and cleaning, I have yet to have a problem. I have dismantled the seat and fabrics quite often for cleanings and haven't had a problem putting them back together. I just was everything in the wash machine and have had no problems with the fit either. We loved the seat so much we bought another one for our new baby and she loves hers. And for a family that does 7 hour car rides across the state, quite often, these seats have been worth every single penny! Highly Highly...
...

My husband and I spent HOURS searching for just the right car seat for our son, who, at 5 months, was growing increasingly uncomfortable in his infant carrier car seat. Britax was at the top of our list. Why? The safest brand around, has a high weight limit, and is made in the USA. We bought the Britax Boulevard online during the September sale, and we have not been disappointed! My son loves being able to look out the window, and the seat gives him plenty of space to wiggle around in. The seat itself is heavy- this is good for safety, which means it will be less likely to move aroudn in an accident. There is a Versa-Tether, which attaches to the seat, controlling the top, and the harness is an easy clip in and out. The LATCH system is a dream, providing easy and correct installation. Another reason we bought this seat is because we are travelling on an airplane soon and wanted a seat that would be compatible. Expensive, yes, but worth it.

If you choose to buy, consider purchasing in September...
...

We love the Britax Boulevard car seat! We bought it for our son when he was 9 months old because the infant carrier was getting too heavy to lug him around. He has loved this seat from day one! He is very comfortable in the seat and the headrest allows him to fall asleep easily and not have a floppy head! The material is very soft as well. We bought the click and safe version and I am not sure that is worth the extra money. The seat clicks when it isn't very tight, but this is mostly due to my son leaning forward when I am trying to tighten the seat. This seat is very easy to install and very easy to get tight and secure in the car. I am easily able to install it on my own and I am a small woman. Overall this is a great car seat and I would definitely recommend it!
...

There is nothing more important than the safety of your little ones when riding in the car. Car accidents are the leading cause of death for kids. I am somewhat of a self-proclaimed 'car seat nazi'. My daughter, who is 7 now, rode in a Britax Roundabout and then went to Britax Husky. She's still in the Husky and will be until she doesn't fit any longer. Of course, in other cars, she rides in boosters, but we also love the Britax Parkway booster. Britax seats in general can be spendy but it's one thing that even the bargain shopper in me, wouldn't overlook. I looked for sales and was happy with every seat we've gotten.

The Britax Boulevard is a newer model convertible seat. It's rear facing and then can be turned around and used until 60 pounds (I think). I LOVE that we went straight from the bucket seat to this one and I won't have to purchase another carseat EVER. The Boulevard is quite easy to install, especially with the LATCH system. It clips in easily. ...
...

The Britax Boulevard car seat is a great seat. It is easy to install, very sturdy, and appears extremely comfortable for my 17 month old. We have had him in this seat since he was 9 months old. He was a big boy at 9 months - 23 pounds and 31 inches. He fit fine in this seat. There was no pinching or discomfort. He is now 24 pounds and 32 inches and stil fits very comfortably. My only minor complaint is that sometimes the straps get twisted, but it is easily remedied. Overall, I love this seat. it is worth every penny.
...
