lasmar1 says "Great, solid, easy to install, but a bit bulky!" about Britax Boulevard

My… shoulder straps do not tangle. The seat is solid and heavy. Love that it has side impact protection that is so often overlooked in the US. Incredibly easy to adjust the shoulder straps (I hated changing the infant straps) Comfortable for my child (padded shoulder straps, rubber chest area of straps) No horrible pattern to clash with my truck's interior. The Best to Me: IT FITS LIKE A ROCK IN ANYTHING! I know it may be too big for some cars. also don't have to worry securing it tightly. This thing is so easy to use and so easy to get a tight install. It literally does not move at all when installed. Even if the seat is not flush with your automobile seat, it stays in place. The shape of the back of the seat allows for the seat to have a lot of contact and therefore stay in place. Additionally, having the ability to tighten two separate straps for the LATCH is a plus! (believe me, one adjuster is so annoying on my other seat) I can not stress enough how important it is to have a car...
...

domalley says "We love our Britax- it's the best seat I have used!" about Britax Boulevard

The Britax comes highly recommended for a reason! It is easy to use to install with the latch system. The straps are easy to adjust and I love the velcro to hold the straps out of the way. The patterns are great and not boring like most car seats and makes it special for my daughter. She fits in it great and it will last a long time since it goes to 60 pounds. There are no others seats that feel as sturdy as this one, the metal braces hold the latch straps much better than the plastic in the other car seats. I even bought the same one for our other car.
...

I love this carseat. It is so soft and will fit my daughter until she is 65 pounds!!!

Thanks Britax!!

The prints that you can pick with this seat are great.

The cover will come off easy to wash and goes back on just as easy.

We have been using this carseat for two and one half years and it looks just like it did the day we put it in our car.

The seat can be easily removed and installed in a car in only a few minutes. This seat has been washed at least four times and does not look like it has faded at all. ...
...

After A LOT of research, we decided to go with the Britax Boulevard since it had the true side impact wings. It was pricey, but we thought it was worth it. The seat has been nothing but problems. I cannot get the straps to get tight enough on my daughter, they seem to lock. The straps are always getting twisted and I spend several minutes each time I put her in the seat untwisting them. I do think that the seat is safe and my daughter is comfortabe though. I contacted Britax and told them about the problem. I was asked to send a photo, and it has been 3 weeks and I have not heard back. I still think despite the problems that Britax is one of the safest carseats on the market and I love the fact that it is made in the USA. The seat has a few recline postions. My favorite feature is that it can stay rear facing until 35 pounds. This is great for us since we beleive in rear racing as long as possible. The fabric is really nice and pretty, but it is hard to keep clean...
...

This car seat was by far the best one we ever had. Because our son is on the large end of the spectrum, the weight limit was an advantage over other car seats. My son never struggled to get into or out of it, and he always sat back and relaxed in the comfortable seat. I also liked the added velcro which held straps in place - no fiddeling for straps.
...

sstodgell says "Safest & comfortable carseat!" about Britax Boulevard

After lots of research on safety and comfort we chose the Britax Boulevard for our son. This car seat is one of the safest on the market. Britax is known for going above and beyond American safety standards on car seats, particularly side impact crash testing. There are many reasons we chose Britax with safety being the main reason. Britax is one of the more expensive brands but if you watch for sales and pick your model wisely, your carseat will last you and be well worth its cost. We chose the Boulevard specifically due to the higher height and weight limits when compared the the cheaper Marathon & Roundabout. The weight on the Boulevard is 65 lbs. We also like the extra support around the head for side impact crash protection. We also really appreciate that the straps do not have to be rethread to adjust the height, you just wind the knobs to higher, you don't even HAVE to remove it!

One con is that the strap is a bit difficult to tighten, it is just a left lever and pull strap buy ours...
...

We bought the Britax Boulevard for our daughter about a year ago. We decided to go with the Boulevard because of its many safety features and comfort. When we looked at other, less expensive car seats we found that they just didn't have the features that the Boulevard. While it was expensive, we decided that there were many other things that we would spend that much money on without thinking twice so why would we think twice about the safety of our daughter. When we first bought it, our daughter was still rear facing. We have had no problems with putting it rear facing or forward facing. Our child has plenty of room and is quite comfortable (the padding is great). We really liked how easy it was to hook up in our car. Another great feature that we didn't find in many of the other seats was the side impact feature. The harness is easy to tighten and to loosen. And it is easy to clean. We have been very happy with our purchase!
...

docnic says "Britax Boulevard convertible carseat best by far from 5-65# !" about Britax Boulevard

Worth every penny! This seat has side impact wings (useful for head support when napping and in the event of a side impact car accident can keep your child's head from flopping side to side. My kids have no trouble seeing past the wings to look outside) Can be used rear facing from 5-35# with tethers to stabilize the seat and latch or seatbelt installation. Easy to install rear or front facing, can get solid installation! Forward facing limit is 65#, has multiple shoulder strap heights to accomodate the tall, skinny children as well! Can adjust shoulder straps and height of wings without relacing the straps, easy to tighten or loosen, also has velcro on straps and seat sides to keep straps out of the way as child sits down. Good padding, comfy for the long trips. Fabric holds up well to washing (do not put it in the dryer, air dry only). Does not have as many cute fabric choices as the marathon, but its a better seat with more safety features and a higher weight limit. Good choice...
...

The Britax Boulevard is an awesome car seat! I searched around to find the safest car seat for my daughter and every safety rating led me to this seat. It was a little pricey but I didn't feel that I should downgrade my child's safety because of a price. It has a piece that goes around each side of your child's face to protect the child from side crash impacts (if the glass breaks it will not fly into the child's face). I love it so much that I am now going to buy one for my other daughter. They have phenomenal reviews and are rated for top car and airway safety. The Britax car seats are very big, but they are roomy enough for kids to grow into. All of the colors and patterns are nice. I only wish that I could wash the cover in the washing machine. You have to hand wash the cover, which can be a problem if you do not have a back up car seat while your cover is line drying. Overall it was a great buy!
...

We purchased this car seat because it met United States and German standards, since my husband is German this was very important to us. We have been EXTREMELY pleased with this seat. When the seat first was shipped to us I read the book and installed it. I felt pretty good about it but the firemen were doing a check about two weeks later so I figured it was a good idea to have them double check my work. The first fireman to see the seat stopped in his tracks and turned to shake my hand because he felt this was one of the best seat out there. About year later I had it checked again because our son had grown and again the police man commented on what a quality seat it is. No more then a month ago I had it check a third time because our son is now borderline of out growing it. This time the police officer asked if he could have it as a demonstration model because the quality of the seat. In three years, three trained professional all had the same reaction! Yeah, we are happy...
...

I love the Boulevard's side impact protection. It seems to be the safest option as far as carseats go. The fabric comes clean in the washer, which is good for us because our daughter is very messy. A big plus also is that with most carseats, they need to be replaced after 5 years. The Britax brand is good for 10 years. The only thing negative I could say is that it is rather big and although my little one does not complain, the crotch strap is kind of tight. Over all a very good product. We will be buying another one for our other child.
...

I have this seat for my two and a half year old son, and I love it. We bought it when he was 9 months old because he outgrew his infant seat, and I am VERY pleased that this seat allows for a higher rear-facing weight limit. Britax was the first company to do this and I think it's great because personally I do not think the minimum 1 year and 20 pounds is good enough, so I wanted to follow car seat expert's advice by keeping him rear-facing as long as possible. This seat allowed me to do that much longer than any other seat I had seen at the time. It is very simple to install and easy to clip him into. I feel better about all of Britax's seats since they do more extensive testing than other car seat manufacturers, but this seat is especially nice because it has side-impact protection. The wing-looking things that are at the top of the seat where the head rests are VERY thick and hard to help protect the child's head in a side impact crash. You almost can't even move them because they are...
...
