For our first son, I have bought 11 car-seats in his 7 years of life so far, and I did not like a single one anywhere near as much as I love the Britax Boulevard. With our 19 month old son, we bought the Boulevard when he was 9 months old, and I have never been so happy! The straps have NEVER tangled, and the seat still looks brand new. It gets used several times every single day and it looks like it was just pulled out of the box. As far as it being more costly, I think that if you spend more and buy the right car-seat the first time, it saves you money in the end. This seat accommodates up to 65 pounds, so it will be used for a very long time for most kids. I would recommend this to everyone!!
