Take this quote from one Viewpoints reviewer “for our first son I bought 11 car-seats in his 7 years of life so far, and I did not like a single one anywhere near as much as I love the Britax Boulevard.” Why do they love it so much? The car seat safety ratings are high, with “true side impact protection” the Britax is a “MUST have if you have to place the seat near a door (instead of the center)." I spent forever researching to find the perfect car seat for our infant son. I wanted a car seat with not just high safety ratings, but stellar ratings. It also had to be comfortable for long trips as we travel to visit family at least every month. I lucked out when my "in-laws" decided to purchase our car seat for our first child. I had looked on line, talked with friends that had kids and we spent at least 45 minutes looking at a display of all the car seats in Target. Finally a mom told us her experiences with each brand of car seat. Her favorite was the Britax brand. Due to wanting a neutral color seat (so we could use it with any child) we went to a baby store here in town. They just happened to carry the Britax brand. My wife suggested this car seat and she also did all of the research, God bless her! Once she gave me the stats I decided that she made a good choice and we started looking for a good deal. Of course she found one, and we bought it! This seat actually installs in about a minute, I'm not even kidding! It's on the heavy side, but I think that just shows how sturdy it is, since it has a steel frame! It couldn't be easier to get our daughter in and out of, and she absolutely loves this seat, no crying or fussing from her at all! The Britax Boulevard is a GREAT seat-- slightly expensive, but we got ours on clearance- seems that towards the end of each year, the next model year is coming out and stores start putting the leftovers from the last model year on clearance! — — It's safe, easy to adjust, and seems really soft and comfortable for our daughter. This seat is great, is was about $300 when we bought it, but it is the only brand rated at 65 miles per hour for safety and tested as such. Which is our normal speed given most of our driving is on the interstate! I don't remember exactly, but I believe that most car seat brands are only tested at 35 miles per hour. I mean, really ?! Who goes that slow in this day and age? — We also like the color , however, it is hard to clean when it comes to throw up, etc. But the dark colors otherwise hide spills very well. My husband and I are first time parents who are willing to spend a little extra to keep our daughter safe and happy! For our first son, I have bought 11 car-seats in his 7 years of life so far, and I did not like a single one anywhere near as much as I love the Britax Boulevard. With our 19 month old son, we bought the Boulevard when he was 9 months old, and I have never been so happy! The straps have NEVER tangled, and the seat still looks brand new. It gets used several times every single day and it looks like it was just pulled out of the box. I love this car seat! I did a lot of research before buying this seat. It has been well worth the money for us. It's very easy to install and is made very well. It has your child's comfort as well as safety in mind. The only draw back is that it is fairly large and for us it was a little on the expensive side. But when it comes to your child's safety what's a little extra space. We also took Grandparent donations to help pay for it so it worked out very well for us. We were looking to get our daughter a new seat. We were told this was the best. I LOVE that you do not have to re-thread the height strap with each growth spurt. You just twish the side knobs and they move up and down getting a perfect fit! The price is a little high but for my childs safety its worth it. — Also, our daughter is on the petite side so the fact that it does from 5-40 lbs is perfect. she will be in it until she is ready for a booster. — Only con I have is the cleaning. Love this product! Very comfortable instead of those usual hard plastic seat. Great fabric and design and best of all the saftey. This seat is a big seat with side impact protection. My son loves it and never have any trouble with him wanting to come out. Very comfortable he usually falls right asleep. Fits a child 0- 60lbs , rear and front facing. this car seat is so comfortable my son absolutly loves it everytime he gets into it he immediatly falls alseep and gets all mad at me when i wake him up to take him out, sometimes i think he likes it more than his bed. This is the best carseat. My son loves how comfortable it is and he is not willing to take long car trips. Worth every penny! Only con is that it is super HUGE!
