It is decent..

Brinkman 4 burner,I didn't have one problem with it. The directions are clearly labeled, it also included all parts and tools to assemble. Worst part was having to tighten the side pieces as you have to get underneath the shelving unit to tighten a nut with a small wrench . I suggest using an electric screwdriver as it is quicker and easier on hands. There are some sharp edges to be wary of but then it is metal. Otherwise a breeze to put together, I did it solo and am a female. And the performance of the product is just divine!!! The heat is evenly distributed, has a utensil rack to hang your tools from as well as a towel rack, My husband loves this grill!! It took me a little over an hour to assemble this grill by myself, only help I received was standing it upright as it was too big and bulky for me to do alone. This grill is definitely worth the money!!!

best,easiest to use & clean

5

This is the best grill I have used in my 58 years.  It has four burners that run vertical which allows one to use as a smoker as well.  You can use one or two burners and use the extra space to keep things warm.  Each burner has it's own temperature control. There is a top rack that is smaller that I use for veggies.  There is a side burner to allow one to keep sauces warm or use to pan cook something while "queing" so the entire meal can be made on the grill and not in the kitchen. The burner covers, grill, knobs and grate are all dishwasher safe, which adds to the ease of use.  Not only is it easy to use and clean, it is exceptionally inexpensive.  Wal Mart sells this Brinkman grill for about 200.00; which is totally unbelievable.  I loved mine so much, I convenienced my brother to buy one also; he absolutely loves his as well.  This grill is so easy to use, my son has tried to "borrow" it from me instead of using his own.

This grill is very nice, it is large enough to cook an entire meal on.  It was easy to assemble and I love the way it looks.  The cooking area is large enough to cook on both slow and fast.  You can have something you want to slow cook on one side of the grill and use the other side of the grill to sear or fast cook.  With the four burners it is great, I love grilling on it.  My husband loves it too.  We have both enjoyed making meals on it.  It is very nice looking, has a very slick look to it.  I love the black and chrome, it makes it look like it was expensive yet it really wasn't.  I know we will get many years of grilling out of this grill.  Brinkman is ideal for grilling.  I would recommend buying a Brinkman girll to everyone, they are really nice.  They made it very easy to put together, and you can order parts really easy too.  Brinkman will always be my choice for grilling.  They have larger grills, but the 4 burner is just right for 2 people.  Great Grilling.

Decent for the occasional griller

This Brinkmann grill was a gift to me for Christmas and I've really been quite pleased with it so far.  It cooks great but you really have to learn where the hot spots are on the gas elements as you will either never get the food done or quickly burn it.  After a few times grilling you should be a pro.  Its a little bit of a long process putting it together but its not hard if you can read directions.  After about a year the spark ignition stopped lighting the flame but still emits a spark.  Go Figure.  But it is easily lit by using a stick lighter.  This grill has been durable out in the elements in NC one year covered and one  year uncovered.  The wheels are very cheap but it  you don't more you grill ever its not a problem.  The wheels on mine just seemed to crack and fall off even though i never roll it????????   Overall this a is a great budget grill but if you want a long lasting one get a Weber.

Great for food, but not for decorating your deck!

4

I love to grill, and have went through several grills.  Might be due to the weather conditions living in Minnesota, or maybe that I despise cleaning the grills, but they seem to last barely a season of grilling.  So, I've tried many brands-and so far, this has been the best. The push dial starting buttons still actually WORK.  I say that because every other grill I've ever owned I've had to use a lighter to start it since the buttons quit working.  So that says alot about the quality of this grill I think. The size of the grill is great-you can light 1, 2, 3, or all 4 burners, so you can cook according to the amount of food you have on the grill.  It also has a warming rack which is nice-not used too much but handy when I've needed one. The lid is heavy, the construction overall is very heavy and sold.  Yet in saying that-this grill creaks, sounding like metal grinding against metal, whenever someone walks on the deck, which is incredibly annoying.  Much better suited for a concrete setting. The racks are great-they are coated, and so food sticks less and its easier to clean.  Much easier than the plain steel racks that are common.  Definitely a plus for this grill. I like how the grill functions-but its just, well, ugly.  The stainless is nice, but mainly its a big lump of black and slightly rusting metal.

Great grill for the price

4

Great price for what you get.  It looks more expensive than it is.  It came a little dinged up, but nothing serious.  The front of the grill seems to cook faster than the back.  I pretty much only use the back on low to cook anything from brats to steak.  Pretty easy for 2 people to put together.  My husband and I had it together in just under an hour.  Its a great grill for my family of 3, and I feel confident in being able to cook enough to entertain.

not bad for the price

For the price this is a great deal.  Not fancy but it cooksreally well.  If you're looking fopr one with all the bells and whistles avoid this one.  Their customer service is great.  Brinkman grills in the past have always lasted a long time.

A ticking time bomb

2

We basically cook outdoors almost exclusively during the spring, summer, and even into the fall.  I see no point to run the air and the oven.  Our grill is used almost daily.  We did alot of research and decided upon the Brinkman after my husband determined that replacement parts were available, because in past we have worn out grates, grill plates etc.   The one thing that isn't replaceable, and the one thing that never occurred to us was that the gas regulator valve that controls the flow of the propane, is not replaceable, and when that valve wore out, without any particular warning, the next time we tried to ignite the grill, it almost blew up.....For those who have this grill, be watchful, because we discovered after the fact that the rate of propane usage is one way to determine if that valve is wearing out.   If you usually get X number of hours from a propane tank refill, and that time starts to shorten up, the valve is wearing out-exactly when it will give out entirely isn't something that you can predict, but at least, if you are going through significantly more propane, you know to be very wary when lighting this grill.   Another tip is a lack of temperature control where the grill seems to heat up well beyond the setting of the burner dials.  You won't be able to hold temperature at say 350-375 degrees consistently, but rather it will creep up to 400 and above if you aren't constantly opening the hood to vent off the excess heat, even with the dials set on the lowest possible setting, you will still see the temperature creeping up.

Easy to assemble

5

I rec'd this incredible grill for Christmas. I needed to assemble it...it went together very easily with all the needed tools included with the grill. Directions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to assemble it by myself...they do reccommend having a friend help at a few of the stages. It took me about an hour to fully assemble and connect the tank. I must praise how the assembly parts wee packaged and clearly marked so no one could mistake what they were...unlike many other self assembling projects that dump the parts into a bag and you have to figure out which is which. I was very impressed that they provided the tools in the kit so I didn't have to hunt for the right sized tools. I really appeciated the built in ignitor...my previous grill had be install one this one was already installed. I have already prepared my first meal on the BBQ and am looking forward to many more meals. I am getting used to the humungous size of the grill...compared with my previous one this one is the size of a large trunk!
