I tried out this litter for our little four legged friend and was highly surprised at how great it worked. I would probably not suggest it for someone with multiple cats, but for our 1 cat is worked great. The normal stench of kitty litter was not there and one would hardly even know we had a cat if we did not mention it. I love that there is very little effort that we have to put into it for cleanup. That was definitely one of my most hated jobs around the house. Let's face it- no one likes to scoop poop from the kitty litter box! I think that this product has a fair price and it does what it advertises to do. Many other devices that are similar that we have tried were not all they stacked up to be. They were also way too highly priced to be such a disappointment. If you have a cat, don't love scooping litter every other day and would like to have a product that really does work, try this out for sure. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Let me start out saying this product is clean reliable and has basically no retaining odors. the product itself is a fair price assuming you have a average cat, personally my cat loves the box and i only have to buy new catriges every three to four weeks. the system itself is self maintaining and only needs your attention roughly every four weeks...but there is a single star removed due to the customer service representitives who will not pay notice after about eight months but likewise you will not really notice any problems with your new kitty pampering device. Overall this product is self explanitory and requires no scooping but needs you to dig through piles and piles of cat diarrhea to finally get to that cat pee stained film on the bottom but this horrable, horrific nightmare of pain and sorrow will be over in about fifteen minutes and will, as previously stated need to be cleaned every three to four weeks.

Like other scoop-free cat litter boxes, this one is not totally scoop free. You still have to clean out the clumps, then clean out the residue that sticks to the little combs or whatever those things are called. I know lots of people with cats and have talked about this new self-cleaning one I wanted to purchase. Most said that I would be sorry. Well, I am sorry. I am doing as much work as I would do with a regular old box and cat litter. New things are not always as wonderful as they are advertised. I think I should have stuck to the old way. Actually, I cleaned the dang thing up and took it back to the store. They didn't want to take it back because it was used and I was not returning it because something was broken. The manager in charge that day said, "If you don't like the product, contact the company. We aren't liable for returns just because an item wasn't what you hoped it to be." This is the same person who checked us out when I bought it, and he said he has one. Now he claims to never have fallen for the self-cleaning ruse. Hmmmmm. Live and learn.

brillaliant pet scoop free self cleanning litter box is great .you dont have to own a scoop or try to keep up wilth one.this box cleans itsself when your cat gets off it automatic moves the lever to scoop it to a basket is what i cal it when the basket gets fullall you have to do is pick it up and dispose of it in the little bag that you buy and put in it. this litter box is not too expensive .change the litter less often .my cat use to lplay games with ours she would get in it and jump out just to watch the arm move .the arm is set on a sensor to let it know when the cat is out,will not close on cats feet.it also has less odor .i feel it is worth it to not have to clean the litter box every day .my cat loves it too.you just have to keep batteries in it so it will work.i think who ever invented this was the best ,must of had a lot of cats.you can buy this at walmart too so if you dont like it take it back ,or order on line and try it if not send it back.i sont think you will send it back because the way it works ,i myself dont have tim to clean litter box every doy "do you"/

We loved the concept of having crystals instead of litter. Not having to clean the litter everyday would have been great. The set up is very easy and the crystals do not cause all of the dust that tradition litter does. The tray that you pour the crystals in is very clean and convenient to work with. Even when breaking the litter tray down to give it away, I was impressed with how easy it was to lift the pan off the tray to remove/replace it. Our cats, however, never took to using it. Maybe it was the crystals that they just can't seem to take to, or maybe the fact that it is electric. We have a very nervous cat that will not use it because she has seen it self clean. It freaked her out and after that she never even went close to it. The friends that we gave it to don't seem to have much luck either. Their cat does in fact use the pan, but they say that the crystals don't mask the smell very well. They are going to give it away to yet another cat owner. Eventually it may find a home that works for it... or that it works for.

I bought this great Brilliant Pet Scoopfree Self-Cleaning Liter Box for my pet cat name smitty. She really loves this thing and she actually tries to lay in it like it is bed. She uses this thing more times throughout theday than when she had to go outside. I think that this was a good idea when the inventor created this. I like how it does not leave the house smelling like strong urine or any mess. It is so cool and it is odor resistant that is the best thing about this product. I am going to be purchasing several more so that she want have to keep using the same one in every room that she goes into. I know a little over the top but she is my baby and she is spoiled. I like to make sure that she has everything that she needs to maintain her cleaniness. I would recommend this great product o all that have animals that want to do their business and move on to other things without leaving a nasty mess and smells.

This thing isn't perfect, but it's pretty close!! Imagine not having to scoop out your cats litter box on a daily basis. Imagine not having to smell cat feces and urine all the time. Well, now you no longer have to imagine it! With the Scoop Free Self Cleaning Litter Box, by Brilliant Pet, it is now a reality! This litter box is fully automatic, and features a raking like feature that whisks away feces and urine into a compartment that is kept hidden from view, and smell. The disposible trays are prefilled with litter already, so you already have a start to it. According to their manual, you wont have to see, smell, or change it for 30 days. I find that 15 days is more reasonable. it's quite a bit bigger than I expected it to be, and I didn't take into consideration the fact that it has to be plugged in to work. It's really not a problem, as all I had to do was move it to a more outlet-friendly location. I find it a great thing that they have an infrared sensor that knows when there is a cat using it, or if something else is in the way. When the sensor is blocked, it will not rake the litter. Which means that there is no injury to your cat. That is a huge bonus for me. I've had another one that was automatic as well, and it raked every 20 minutes with no fail. There were no sensors to make sure that my cat was using it, and it would occasionally rake while she was in the litter box. It became too much of a hassle, and we ended up throwing it away. Poor cat was terrified of using it. It is a bit on the pricey side, as the refills themselves are not cheap. However, if you are disatisfied with it, you have up to 90 days to call and return it. And the company pays all the shipping fees. It's a great thing to have, incase if your cat doesn't like it.

What can I say, this litter box is fabulous, just absolutley perfect for my cat. It has very very little odor that you can smell when you step near it, and my cat just loves it. Sometimes, he even likes to just sit in it! Kind of disgusting, but it was totally worth buying. The good thing is, someone referred it to me, because as a dog lover, I'm not very good with littler boxes and cat supplies. So if you need a litter box and want one that has great quality for the price and also hates odors and wants a litter box that barely has any, I highly recommend this litter box, for the average cat. Some cats I've heard don;t really enjoy the way it's shape and kind of have a hard time getting into the box. But for my cat, it's perfectly stable to get in its own litter box. So, like I said, if you're in need of a litter box that you need for an average cat that can fit into a regular sized litter box, I suggest this one.
