Brill Street is a refreshing talent development partner that cultivates the pool of smart, motivated college and grad students and places them on projects and assignments within companies of all sizes. All of Brill Street's student candidates meet rigorous academic standards and are pre-qualified by experienced Talent Managers (Brill Street recruiters).Brill Street provides lots of flexibility for companies who need one to many employees for projects, and charges a very affordable hourly rate for "Brill Streeters" who are on client assignments. Brill Street also provides "temp-to-perm" services for clients, focusing on students within a year of graduation, and permanent placement services for recent grads.
One of the the best things about working with Brill Street is it establishes an early, enriching dialog between the real world of business and America’s workforce of the future, allowing companies to "give something back" to our corporate and thought leaders of tomorrow.
Brill Street was founded in early 2006 by Chicago entrepreneurs David Frej and Nancy Lerner. Their mission was to provide a unique talent development organization that helps companies identify current and future employees based upon "promise" versus "experience." In exchange, students get paid a competitive hourly rate to work on meaningful, career-building (and in many cases, career-defining) projects and assignments. David Frej and Nancy Lerner are also the founders of Otherwise Incorporated (http://www.otherwiseinc.com), a Chicago Branding and Design Agency.
