Anyone that has read some of my reviews knows I am addicted to Citrus Scents so here comes another one...lol I found this at the Dollar Store and just had to give it a try, it is about the size of a large candle and comes in a recyclable container.

Bright Air Odor Eliminator

This has a very nice scent to it comprised of Mandarin Orange and Fresh Lemon and it smells great. When you first get it you unscrew the top and remove the paper barrier and screw the top back on. It says it works in spaces up to 450 square feet. I have it sitting on my cable box in the Family Room. With my ceiling fan going it lets it cover the entire room with a nice Citrus Scent and I am loving it.

This is made by the Bright Air Co. and the are located in Wilmington Delaware right here in the Good Ole U.S.A. This is a solid air freshener that is bright orange in color and it works by evaporation. Putting it near a breeze will help to let it work better and for tough odors you can take the cap off all together. I leave the cap on as it has large slits in it and works for me just like it is. I have used other solid scent air fresheners before and they generally last about 3 months. They just keep getting smaller until it is just a small hard lump and even then still has a scent to it.

The freshener feels like jello when you touch it and now my finger smells like oranges and lemons...lol The jar is made of a translucent white thin plastic about the thickness of a pop bottle. It is about 3" in diameter and about 3" in height as well.

Bottom Line

I paid $2 for this and it is well worth it for the scent it puts out. Although you can smell it across the room it is not overbearing at all and if you love citrus like I do you will be pleased. I also have one of these in my bathroom and the smell is just fantastic.

Citrus is just one of those scents that soothes away the blues so well. It ranks up there with vanilla for me.

Citrus is my favorite scent, too, especially when the aroma is emitted from a good IPA

I would think so usually the Dollar Store has the same all over, my bathroom smells just like an orange grove!

AnnaBanana wrote on Mar 25, 2008 at 12:50PM

What a masterstroke -- putting it on the cable box where a little heat is generated. I'll have to look for this. I'm a great believer in things that come from dollar stores.

AmyA wrote on Mar 25, 2008 at 12:15PM
