in my eyes, this tires are not only absolutely excellent in harsh winter weather (i live in alaska) but also good for the road. unlike the studded tires, which tear up the road, the bizzak does non of that, because they do not have any studs. the gas milage is better and on dry road you do not slip when you have to break quickly and hard. with this tires there is much less slipping on snow or ice then with studs. the feeling while driving is almost like driving on dry road. — all around, this are the best winter tires i have ever owned and the only ones i will ever buy and recommend… read full review »

Living in a ski resort town - plus living on a 1-1/2 mile dirt road from the main roads, Blizzaks et you home or out safely.  We've tried many kinds but the Blizzaks are superior, even to Hakapelleys (I know the spelling's wrong...). —  Dealer said that Blizzaks are only winter tires and will wear easily in the summer.  However, we found that our Blizzaks lasted as long as any other tire, even using year round. — Can't say enough good about them.  They are pricey so we are always watching the ads for someone that just purchased some and then relocating to a… read full review »
