Bridgestone Blizzak tires are amazing! If you are in a snowy area and are looking for some good snow tires, look no further. My last few winters were spent in Alaska, and those years we had the snowiest winter on record and the longest winter on record, which meant I got some great use from these tires! We put them on both our Chevy Malibu and our Toyota Corolla and both cars performed extremely well. These tires have a different type of tread and are manufactured differently than other tires, so they actually grip the road, even when it is covered with snow and ice. You can actually feel it gripping as you are driving sometimes. We lived around some big hills, and there were some areas where we had to stop for a stop sign at a bad spot, making it almost impossible to get your car to grip the snow and actually be able to turn up the hill. I saw many cars stuck in this location, and without our blizzaks, we struggled too. But once those tires were on, we made it without issue. With all snow tires, you still need to drive carefully, but with these, even at times we did slide, it was a small slide and we were able to quickly correct it and keep moving forward. The downside of these tires is that they don't do well in warm weather. So, if you are in an area with a little snow, then it warms up to 50, then snows a little more, these probably aren't the tires for you. The tread gets more worn from the heat. But, they do last well. Ours have been used for over 12 months during their life, and still have another few winters left in them!

These tires are wonderful! I like in icy Alaska and the Blizzaks are great at gripping the icy roads. I moved here with vehicles that were only 2wd so it was very difficult at first during the winter. We weighed the trucks down with snow backs and then put Blizzaks on them and it helped tremendously! I was no longer sliding all over the roads. I felt much safer going out and driving around town. Especially with my kids with me, they have even noticed the difference. These are great quality tires. If you purchase them from a bulk warehouse store, you can return them with no questions asked if anything is to happen to them. I will not be returning mine because they are fantastic. Gripping on ice isn't about the tooth like tread on the tires, it's about the lines that act like squeegies on the ice to give it grip. These have them all over so you stay as firmly planted on the ice as possible.

in my eyes, this tires are not only absolutely excellent in harsh winter weather (i live in alaska) but also good for the road. unlike the studded tires, which tear up the road, the bizzak does non of that, because they do not have any studs. the gas milage is better and on dry road you do not slip when you have to break quickly and hard. with this tires there is much less slipping on snow or ice then with studs. the feeling while driving is almost like driving on dry road.all around, this are the best winter tires i have ever owned and the only ones i will ever buy and recommend since i own them, a couple of years now.the only negative i have to say is, they cost more then the regular studded tires but the tires are sure worth every penny!

I have worked with cars for more than half my life, I have worked for a tire chain store and consider myself to be pretty well diversified with tires. Owning many rear and front wheel drive vehicles, living in New England weather, there will never be another snow tire I would recommend. I have driven many other vehicles with different snow tires, and the bridgestones are the most reliable tire you can have during the winter. They can make your daily commute that more predictable, the grip these tires provide on snow and ice definitely surpass competitors. These tires also wear very nicely, i've used a set of these on my Nissan Altima for more than four seasons now with more than 5/32nd's of tread left. Obviously I rotate them every season which is about four-thousand miles each year. I also had these on my rear-wheel drive BMW, I was confident and didn't have to worry about making it home each night. These tires are also quiet and comfortable, the extra weight they provide, gives you a sense of security when driving.
