Bteyers Inspirations Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt

Comments about Breyers Inspirations Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt:

Inspirations Lowfat Yogurt is a new product by Breyers. I tried the Mint Chocolate Chip version because Mint Chocolate Chip is one of my favorite flavors. This was a BIG disappointment. I eat yogurt all the time in various flavors made by various makers, so I usually know what to expect when I get yogurt. Breyers yogurt does not taste as sweet as other yogurt, which may be the way many people like it. But the combination of the less sweet yogurt with the chocolate was not very appetizing. I tried the first cup as an evening snack and found it to be very sour. A day or so later, I tried a second cup first thing in the morning, and it didn't seem as sour, but I still didn't care much for the taste. I was also disappointed to find that this yogurt doesn't contain Vitamin D, which is one ingredient I really want when I buy yogurt. Overall, not a positive experience. Based on this experience, I won't likely want to try any of the other Inspirations flavors.

Yogurt and mint not my favorite combination.

By

Comments about Breyers Inspirations Mint Chocolate Chip Yogurt:

Out of all of the Breyer's Inspirations flavors that I have seen, I was most excited to try the Mint Chocolate chip since that is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. However, of all of the Breyer's inspiration flavors I've tried, I was least impressed by the Mint Chocolate Chip. I discovered that, to my taste, yogurt and mint are not a good combination. The naturally sour flavor of yogurt did not work well with the mint for some reason. On the other hand, the other Breyer's Inspirations flavors that I tried, chocolate chip, cookie dough, and cherry chocolate chip, were delicious. The difference was the vanilla or cherry base, both of which are delicious as yogurt. The addition of chocolate chips (or cookie dough) made these flavors seem like dessert rather than yogurt. The Mint Chocolate Chip had a good texture and the same delicious chocolate chips but the overall flavor of the yogurt was the turn-off for me.
