I had bought the Cranberry Breville Scraper Mixer Pro for my mum for her birthday and she and I love it. We make a lot of pavlova's, cakes, cupcakes, pizza, bread and other homemade meals from scratch but I had always hated the part in the preparing method of using our hand mixer when the recipe requires the batter to be mixed with an electric mixer. I would always take on that task of mixing the fresh cream or batter for the 2-5 minutes on the high setting with the hand mixer and my hand would always take a toll on the task. But now with the Breville Scraper Mixer Pro my mother and I just add in what we want in the very large 4.7 litre bowl and let it do all the work. It has settings on the side for the speed, duration of how long you want to mix it and loads more features. And the beater gets every bit of the batter so that you don't have to worry about lumps of unmixed ingredients around the side of the bowl or on the bottom. It is easy to clean and makes cooking so much easier. I will definitely be buying one for myself and will recommend it to anyone looking for a new mixer.

I was torn between a Kitchen Aid and the Breville mixer. After much debate, I decided on the Breville because the cord can be tucked into the stand. The performance is great and it looks great sitting out in my kitchen. It took me a couple of times to get comfortable with using it but now my baked goods turn out perfect. The attachments that came with it all connect in easily. My favorite is the one that mixes and scrapes the sides of the bowl. I use this one for thinner doughs and mixes and it saves me having to stop the mixer to clean the sides of the bowl. They also give you a separate spatula that is long and thin that helps with scrapping the side of the mixer bowl. The piece I struggle with is the top guard. It is clear plastic and is for keeping your ingredients in the bowl. There is a spout that allows for pouring new ingredients in but I find this piece awkward so I don't use it. Overall, I have been very happy with this mixer and expect that I will be using it for years to come. I use it 1-2 times a week and more often at birthdays and holidays.
