My daughter gets horrible knots in her hair, so we've tried a lot of detangling sprays. This one is by far her least favorite. It does take the knots out, but the scent isn't that pleasant. It's strong and even though it's supposed to smell like fruit, it has a tendency to smell a little bit chemical. It is cheap, so that's a plus. If you like the scent, it is a good, cheap option for detangling hair.

Breck  is the maker of a spray on detangler for kids. I recently bought the Watermelon smile for my little girls long hair. It is suppose to gently detangle hair so its manageable. Well, it doesnt work immediately and then you need to use a good deal of it. It did make it where my daughters hair was not full of snarles but then it left a residue in her hair. The yummy smell is great but this doesn't stay on the hair for long. The detangler can be used on wet or dry hair.  It is suppose to get the toughest snarles or knots out. You can spray on wet hair. If your hair is dry, you need to spray your hair until it is wet. Then you are suppose to be able to run a comb through your hair.  This product is ok but not the greatest in my opinion. The bottle is colorful with a lime green spray top and a picture of a smiling piece of watermelon combing its hair. The size of the bottle I have is 8oz. I still use it occasionally but am looking for something else.
