Best option but not the only option...

Babies are sick less often, It's the most natural food for baby, It's why we have breasts!

Breastfeeding Opinion —

I agree that breastfeeding is the most natural option for feeding your baby with tons of pros for both baby and mother. I nursed my first two children along with bottle/formula feeding (due to working and not having the opportunity/time to pump) and didn't have any major problems. When I gave birth to my 3rd child 2 months ago, I planned on nursing full time since I was now a SAHM. Well it turned out that this child just had too small of a mouth for a proper latch to my breast. After trying for 3 1/2 weeks and suffering through bleeding blisters on my nipples and crying over the loss, I gave up and moved to the bottle. We still bond by me holding her close and talking to her while she eats. Now Daddy and her 2 big sisters get to have the joy of feeding and bonding with her too.

My sister had a problem similar to yours. But it was her first child and she didn't have your life experiences. I felt bad for her because people told her she was a bad mother for going to formula. Good to have your experience posted.
