Breastfeeding pros and cons

There's no better bond!

Cons

Sore nipples but it gets better!

The pros of breasfeeding are far beyond the ones listed above

Pros for the baby:
* lesser chanceds of adult diabetes
* Its the most nutrisious food fo ryour baby
* boosts the baby's immunity, fewer colds and cough
* Baby puts on healthy weight
* Bonding between mom and baby
* Calmer and satisfied babies
* baby get a flavor of you ethnic food

pros for moms:
*. lesser chances of breast cancer
*. lesser chances of adult diabetes
*. Loose your pregnancy weight faster

Cons:
* restricted diet for mom.
* Sleepy mom (wont last for too long)
* Difficulty latching on (2 mos. at the most, once latched on, its a cake walk)

There are a few ways to help with the sore nipples. You can work them into shape by tugging and pulling on them yourself but don't hurt yourself. Also you shoud watch the baby's lips. Make sure that the baby is not sucking his/her lips in. You should always be able to see the baby's lips while nursing. It is amazing how much this little detail helps.
