This product was helpful because I was given it to use to help my milk produce for my child.  He was in an incubator the entire time I was in the hospital so I never got to let him latch on.  it's also useful if you're uncomfortable with letting your child latch on but still wants to provide the nutrients available in breastmilk.  It's hand operated but it's not hard or tiresome to use.  It has a baby bottle attatched to it and also a stand to sit it in.

Oh my goodness, I love this pump!  My daughter had heart surgery at 2 months old and she could not breastfeed for a month.  While we were in the hospital, I used the hospital breast pump which is really good and really expensive.  When I got home, my daughter was not interested in breasfeeding, but I still wanted her to get my breastmilk.  My mom bought this pump for me and it was the best thing ever!

The Medela Pump in Style Advanced breast pump, is the best on the market. This pump offers dual pumping so you can save time and empty 2-sides at once!  I decided that I would breast feed my DD for a year and I started back to full-time work when she was 5 months old (I have summers off!). I was working when I had my first 2 children and I used the Medela Pump In Style at work in a special room designated for mothers who needed to pump breast milk.  The pump was easy to use and very efficient, which was good since I didn't have too much time during my breaks.  The cooler bag was effective at storing the milk until I got home.  I also used this pump at home to store up an extra supply of milk in case I needed to leave and my husband needed to feed the baby.  I never had any problems with the pump and never needed to order new parts.  The pump is expensive, but very good quality...

 I rented the Symphony from the hospital for the first month before purchasing the Pump In Style advanced  shoulder bag pump. I love love love it. It is so powerful, I think it is even more powerful than the Symphony. Its easy to carry around and can hold all my pumping accessories. I would recommend shopping all the sites (Amazon and Target) before buying b/c I paid 279 and now I see it on here for 235. I bought mine at Target and the week later it went on sale for 240 so I took my reciept back and got an adjustment and the difference back. I would suggest getting a few sets of flanges though....

The Avent Isis works very well, and allows you to express milk quickly.  Since you pump the milk directly into the bottle, there's no mess from transferring the milk from one container to another.  I actually got two of them, so that I could use both at the same time.  One pump stimulated my milk flow so well that my milk would start leaking from the other breast.

The product is easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning, and lightweight enough to not be a burden when you're on the go.  It is also completely silent, so there's no pump sound for those who wish to remain as discreet at possible....

I am currently nursing my second child. I struggled the entire time feeding my first child and tried several pumps to try to get my milk supply to increase. I bought the Medela Harmony because the job I had at the time did not have an outlet in the bathroom and it worked much better than I expected. I also have the Medela electric pump and other than being a little more time consuming the Medela Harmony works as well as the electric. I purchased the Lansinoh Manual Breast Pump online about a week after I delivered my baby.  There are a few good features about this pump:

• It is small, lightweight and portable
• It is easily taken apart for cleaning and easy to put back together
• Comes with a manual of helpful breastfeeding tips

• Affordable for the pump itself, compared to similar models
• Comfortable to use

Do you need a great breastpump?  Let me recommend the Medela Pump in Style be the choice for you!  It works fast and very effectively.  It is a double pump and you are able to use it by plugging in to a wall outlet, with six double A batteries or by cigarette lighter.  When you purchase the pump, it comes with four five ounce bottles with lids, two breast shields, and hoses.  The cigarette lighter adapter isn't included, you must purchase it separately if you want it.  It is great to have if you travel in your vehicle often.  When I purchased my pump, it came with some sample breastmilk...

When we found out we were going to have our first child, I wanted to give her the best possible, but with working a full time job, finding the best breast pump became a chore. I tried the electronic ones, the double ones, the manual ones and the one I found that was most comfortable was the one I got from the midwifes office. Its comfortable, simple to use and comes totally apart and is dishwasher (top rack only) safe.  No chance of infection, or sore, cracked nipples.

I won't pretend that there's alot of variety for those women out there that want to breastfeed their babies exclusively the things you will need are hard to find and expensive. Playtex, Drop-ins are the best bet for finding anything that will help you at all to keep your child feeding off your own milk and still getting the right kind of nipple so they don't get confused. There's several different types of breast pads and you really don't know which to choose. There aren't a wide variety of nursing bras and they don't come in very many sizes so you can assume that you're going to be looking for...

The Medela handheld breast pump, is efficient, fast, cheap, portable, and easy to use. And it is used by hospitals worldwide. So you know that it is has got to be working with many people. i just love it. :) there are cons just like any other merchandise. one is that it's a little hard to clean, but i found that a baby bottle brush works efficiently in cleaning it. :) it has to be cleaned every time you use it, other wise, after a couple times of not washing it and just rinsing it out, it can grow some nasty fungi. i didn't know there was any fungi in the pump, even after cleaning it, until i realized...

The Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Single Electric Breast Pump is wonderful. I bought this product at Walmart for $40, I bought it because it was the cheapest electric pump the store had. Turns out it works great. This pump has low to high settings, the low being gentle enough to not make you hurt. As you go up in settings it gently increases suction. I really love this pump and all the accesories it has. It contains a small cooler where you can store up to 6 bottles. It comes with 3 ice packs to help maintain your milk fresh.The pump itself is really sturdy and does not take a lot of space. which is great when you dont have much space to begin with.
