Most HelpfulI read the whole series and by the time I got to Breaking Dawn I was unimpressed and genuinely disliked the character of Bella. Meyers tries to portray her as a selfless, humble character but she is anything but. She is constantly putting everyone in danger, she is absolutely cruel to Jacob for...
review »I just finished Breaking Dawn, the final book in the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer and I must admit that it was definitely my favorite. The author took it up a notch and it became geared more toward the adult level. You will have to read it to understand what I am saying because I'm not going to give away too much of the good stuff.
In Eclipse I learned that Bella had fallen for both Edward and Jacob and thus, I needed to read the last book to see whom she chose. Well, within the first chapter the wedding takes place and for the Cullens coven it is probably the wedding of the century. ...
review »Breaking Dawn is the final book in the Twilight series, written by Stephanie Meyer. I am not normally a fan of fiction, however, I was addicted to every single one of the Twilight books. I read all four hardback novels within approximately three weeks. YES! THEY ARE THAT GOOD!
Now, I raved about the first book, Twilight (read review here). The book, at times, left me breathless. The passion between Bella & Edward was so real, so intense, just what every girl dreams of having when she grows up. The second book, New Moon (read review here) was only okay, in my opinion. Things started...
review »If you haven't read my previous Twilight series reviews, it may benefit you to read them so you know where I stand with this series.
As with all of the other Twilight books, I didn't enjoy this one. However, this fourth and final installment in the Twilight series was definitely the most interesting. In this book, Bella officially joins the Cullen family. This book is definitely aimed towards an older audience than before. Sex scenes and allusions to sex occur in various parts of the book. From the beginning, it was obvious that this book would be even weirder than the rest. I don't want to...
review »Stephenie Meyers has become a cultural phenom, especially in the female teen set, with the Twilight book series. The final installment Breaking Dawn is the best of the series and is well deserving the build up that was created in anticipation of the books release.
Mrs. Meyers wastes no time with back story in her opening chapter. The story takes us right to where Eclipse left us, and wow what a wonderful and emotionally charged opening she gives her readers. Fans of Edward and Bella are not left hanging, we are filled with their love and devotion right off the bat. The artistic description...
review »Breaking Dawn is totally jam packed. From the wedding to the Volturri, I was never bored with this book, which I am re-reading for the eleventh time. I was surprised that Stephanie Meyer put Jacob's point of view into the story, but it did put in more information about Jake and Bella's relationship. It made me feel bad for him, and I actually thought he was gonna end up with Leah!!! (Gasp!) I was staring at the book, eyes wide, oblivious to the world around me at the end of Jake's POV (pointo of view) and the beginning of Bella's. I love little Renesmee (Nessie) but I feel we didn't hear enough...
review »This was by far the best book of the Twighlight saga. There were times that I wasn't sure I would be able to read the whole saga but I persevered and made it through which I am glad that I got to read this book. It is a little less high school ageish and breaks slightly away from her typical writing style in letting Jacob be the first person for a third or so of the book. As always, it was quite predictable and the ending could have been a little more magnificent. I'm not typically a romance novel reader but a little more sex scenes would have done the book well. Especially after they were...
review »I loved this book and felt that it absolutely positively was the most amazing ending to a wonderful series. It has received critical reviews after it's release date and I have to say that I am more of a fan than ever and I LOVED IT!!!!!!
Breaking Dawn has to be the 2nd best book in the series...next to the first one. The first chapter is the one that you will be wanting to read about after finishing the 3rd book. I was so glad that this was in there...you will just have to see for yourselves!
Then the book takes a strange turn that I was not completely in love with...OH well, I didn't write it! Then it gets even stranger...through the entire series you are seeing through Bellas eyes. You feel how she feels and sees what she sees and then all of a sudden you have to look through Jacobs eyes. It was a bit off but only because by...
