Breadman Ultimate TR2200C Review

If you are looking for an automatic breadmaker that is both easy to use and allows you the flexibility to make your own recipes, then buy the Breadman Ultimate.  I have made my own breads from scratch, by hand, for thirty years.  It has only been in the last fifteen years that I began to use automatic breadmachines.  After owning several, this one is, by far, the best one, hands down.  It comes with a detailed instruction manual and recipe guide which is very helpful for an individual who might be using a breadmaker for the first time.  This manual includes sections on the what and why of the ingredients you will use, as well as how to measure ingredients, convert those measuremens from cups to tablespoons and teaspoons.  It teaches the user how to slice and store the bread after it is done baking.  The manual also includes 64 recipes to try.  I have had every recipe used from this manual turn out beautifully.

For the seasoned baker, the option to customize the bread cycles on the machine is fabulous.  I have been able to shorten rise times, lengthen the kneading process, change the baking temperature and choose whether or not I want the fruit and nuts dispenser to activate.  All and all, I have enjoyed experimenting with the many options this machine has to offer.  With the bake cycle, I have even reheated pizza in the summer when I didn't want to heat up the entire kitchen with my conventional oven (and my microwave was already in use).  

The dough cycle has been my favorite cycle.  It is so much fun!  My family has loved my homemade doughnuts, pizza, sweet rolls, bagels and pretzels, to name of few favorites.  I make snacks from scratch more often, as this machine takes care of mixing, kneading and raising the dough.  I can add my ingredients and let the machine take care of the rest, while I do laundry, dishes, or any of the other numerous tasks required of this busy mom.  Then, when the dough is ready to be shaped and baked, the machine alerts me with a serious of non annoying beeps.  I will definitely purchase this machine again, should mine ever wear out.  ( I have owned it for five years!)
