Breadman TR550 Review

The Breadman TR550 is a great way to enjoy fresh, homemade bread in your own home. I love that I can choose healthful ingredients, throw them in the bucket, and walk away. Then my home is filled with a delicious smell as it bakes, and we get to enjoy soft, fresh bread for supper.

There are many different recipies for breadmachines: white, whole wheat, potato, and rye, all the normal varieties, but with the Breadman TR550 you can also prepare dough for cinnamon rolls or artisan breads, bake fruit breads like cinnamon-raisin, and muffins. It is such a functional machine and perfect for those days you just can't get to the store to pick up another loaf of bread!

My kids also like the Breadman. It is such a simple machine, my preschool son enjoys helping me measure and pour ingredients into the bucket, then setting it to make his favorite type of bread-white. He is always curious to see exactly what the machine is doing and watches through the window regularly throughout the cycles. What a great math and science lesson!

Not only does the Breadman save me time, it saves me money. It is so much cheaper to use my own flour, yeast, and oil to make multiple loafs of healthy bread than to pay $2-3 a loaf at the store. I love it!
