I've owned two Braun razors that use the Clean & Renew system. I have loved both of those razors, but that being said, with this being a review of the Clean and Renew system and not one for the razors, it works just like it says it will. It does a great job of removing previous debris and hair and you get a slightly chemical smelling razor after a cleaning cycle. You do know it's clean, though, and that's a good feeling when you pick up your razor. I was pleased to find that with the newer Braun razors like the 790cc (as opposed to my 7000 series Braun that I purchased 10 years ago), it uses far less cleaning solution than it did in the past. This makes for the cost of keeping the razor clean much less. When I bought my 790cc razor, the first Clean & Renew cartridge lasted for almost three months with 5-day a week use. I was absolutely shocked at that and with Amazon's good pricing on multi-packs of these available, it makes the cost of keeping the razor working at it's peak condition very affordable compared to the 7000 Series which would use a cartridge about every 6 weeks or so.

I have a Braun electric razor with a cleaning station. I purchased some of the system cleaner refills and they work like a charm. You just put the refill into your charger/cleaning station and hit the button and it does all the cleaning for you. Your razor comes out nice, clean, and sanitized and ready to use again. No more pouring alcohol all over it or having to get a brush to try to brush all the hair out of the razor. Just sit it in the stand and presto! It's so easy and it works so great. I absolutely love these refills. They leave the razor feeling like it has never been used, and it has that you can tell it's clean smell. Anyone who has a Braun razor should order some of these refills. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it for the ease of maintaining your expensive razor.

My husband absolutely loves this shaving system. He loves the close trim that it gives, while being sensitive to his face and skin. I love the fact that I can find these refills at our local Wal-Mart and Bed Bath and Beyond. Being able to find the refills in a couple of stores in town makes it super convenient for us, and it's great, because a lot of shavers you can buy one year, and the next, you can't find refills for it anywhere. This really is a great system, and I love how long these refills last. I can put a refill in and it will last for quite awhile. It doesn't take a long time for the shaver to clean itself, but you can tell when you change the refill that it really cleans the shaver out well. Great product, and affordable!

I have to say that the *Braun *works like a charm! It's been quite a while I've experienced a better shaving tool. Previous shavers may have helped get the job done, but didn't really last long enough or didn't provide the better quality that I had originally hoped. With this *Syncro*, I came across what made shaving so comforting and painless! It was providing a comforting massage during the shave to keep any pain at ease. I'll say that shavers like these cannot be imitated so well (especially the cheap knock-off brands that fail) and that *Braun *has become more of a brand I could familiarize myself with whenever I'm looking for a new model for shaving. Most will not be let down by this specific brand. I recommend this to people who are in need of a shave that won't cause pain or irritation.

I've used these for six years or more with two different Braun razors now.  The prices have increased to where they cost the same for two refills instead of three which is frustrating.  Depending on how quickly your hair grows, they are used up rather quickly.  I typically will go through one in about three weeks.  You don't **have** to use them, but it's one of the reasons you bought the razor you did.  I did without for about two weeks while traveling and it does make a noticeable difference in the razor's performance. That being said, it does its job.  It thoroughly cleans the razor and allows the razor to work at its full potential.  Not using it every day doesn't really save any becuause it then requires more to clean the next time.  Using them is great and makes the razor work really well and it's one of the main reasons I bought another Bruan razor with the same feature, despite the cost. The cartidges are easy to open, install, and using the tab you pulled off of the new cartridge you close the old one up and dispose of it.  You can't ask for a system much simpler or less messy (since there isn't one).  It does what it's supposed to. It can pay to look around for the best prices.  They've gone from selling them mostly in 3-packs to 2-packs and it can pay to price shop on-line at times.  There are other times however, that you might as well not bother.  It just makes sense to check a few sites on-line and see what pricing is like (whether discounts are available) and if not, get it from your regular supplier.  I get them from a local superstore normally, but have found some on-line coupons that allowed me to save up 1/3. It's a great idea and great product, I just wish they wouldn't have pushed the prices up so much over the years.  This is especially because they haven't changed the product at all.  The only other tip I can give is top be sure to change your razor's head every 18 months.  It will keep the razor working as best it can.

Hygeine is really important to me, so I couldn't wait to see how these **Braun Syncro Shaver System Clean & Renew Refills** worked! Just store them in the cleaning cartridge, and they'll be ready for use the next day, perfectly clean. Supposedly,using these daily will equal about a one month cleaning from one cartridge. While they are a bit expensive, these refills are the safe way to shave.
