Braun Braun Tassimo TA 1400 Hot Beverage System Review

When I decided to get a single serve coffee brewer, there were so many choices, I didn't know which way to go.  My regular coffee maker is a Bunn, which I LOVE but I ended up going with the Bruan Tassimo TA-1200 Single Serve Hot Beverage System.

This machine takes up very little space and virtually needs no cleaning.

What I love about The Tassimo is that each "T-disc:" has a bar code which the machine reads and uses the info to determine esactly the riht temperature, water amount and brew time for each drink. And better still, you can customize the strength to your own tastes.  My early experience with single brewers was that coffee was always a little weak- not the case with the Tassimo.

It makes coffee, tea, espresso, hot chocolate, and even authentic cappuccino & latte with real milk, not the powdered milk, and I think that makes a huge difference in taste.  Another plus is the veriety of discs- gevalia, starbucks, maxwell house, twinings tea and more.

Each cup takes about a minute so it's perfect for one person or a couple.  Can be good for parties as a "help yourself" but not so good for any formal occasion as the 10th person will not have his coffee for at least 10 minutes after the 1st person.  (Altho at parties people just love to try it out!)

I love my coffe but at $3 a pop, it's getting to be an expensive habit. Thie Tassimo really makes a cup of coffee as good as from your local coffee shop and the money you save will pay for the machine in no time!
