Braun 7 cup electric tea kettle Review

The Braun 7 Cup Electric Tea Kettle is a kitchen appliance that I can't believe that I ever lived without. It can boil water for tea from seconds to a few minutes depending on the amount of water you put into it. It can boil from 1 cup to 7 cups. It is more versatile than just making tea too. I use it to boil water for recipes requiring hot water (like jello). My husband got so tired of me burning up tea pots. I would put on the water to boil and then be called to do something someplace other than the kitchen. The pot would boil dry and then it would burn up. My hubby said I was lucky I didn't start a fire in the house. I even tried a number of whistling tea kettles, but when I was out of hearing range then the same thing would happen. This is an excellent solution. It turns off automatically when the water is boiling. If I am there, I make the tea and if I'm not...oh well. This is actually my second electric tea kettle. My first one was also a Braun but it was the 2 cup. This is much more reasonable for my family size. I have had my Braun 7 Cup Electric Tea Kettle for about 5 years now. I use it probably 5 or 6 times a day. It is wonderful. It doesn't stain, it doesn't have a calcium deposit build-up inside like some glass tea pots I used before...it's just easy clean...wash occasionally and use all the time. I love it and would never go back to boiling water any other way now.
