So much easier to use than those clay colored cup style.

I love this BrassCraft Black Bellow Plunger! I hate having to use it, but when I do I know it is going to work the way a plunger is designed to work. Unlike the other type that has a cup that must be aligned just right over the hole so a proper seal is obtained, this bellow type plunger forms a seal with no guess work because when the bellow is inserted it fills the hole creating a seal that enables the blowing and vacuum effect to release and move the clogged material down into the drain pipe to be flushed away. When it comes to choosing a plunger, I highly recommend this BrassCraft Black Bellow plunger. It makes the ugly job of unclogging the toilet a much more pleasant and easier job. Performance This BrassCraft Black Bellow plunger performs flawlessly for me every time I have to use it. I have never had to plunge a clog more than two times before it is released and flushes. Scent Scent? Sorry but I know of no scent that is emitted from this plunger other than the horrible aroma of the clogged material in the toilet.

The BrassCraft Plunger Black Bellows is probably one of the best toilet plungers that I have ever used. It works so much better than those old-fashioned plungers with the wooden handle and the red rubber end. I have yet to meet a clog that this plunger cannot get rid of. My house has those low-pressure flush toilets. This means that if you use more than just one handful of toilet paper, it clogs and does not go down all of the way. This especially happens in the basement where the pressure is the lowest. We keep one of these plungers in each bathroom and they work like magic every single time. Just a few pumps of the plunger, and the toilet begins to flush! Scent There is not really a scent with this product. It does not smell like anything except for plastic. If you do not rinse it off properly after each use then it will start to smell like an un-flushed toilet, which is pretty disgusting. But as long as you rinse it off each time, you will not have any problems. Because it is plastic (instead of having a wooden handle), the toilet water drips right off and does not absorb into it, causing an awful smell later on.

Works great, looks ugly, kind of messy

Our old plunger was a standard style but I hated it because it would always turn inside out on my when i plunged the toilet, and lets face it those things are way to gross to flip back out by hand. After i complained enough my boyfriend bought me this plunger because its design would prevent it from flipping inside out. in that regard it works great. It also seems to do a good job unclogging the toilet. Although the design is practical I think its rather ugly and takes up a lot more space than our old plunger. Our standard plunger also had a stand that held it so it didn't make a mess while drying where this one does not. I usually wind up with a small puddle because it is difficult to shake all the water off of it. It grosses me out also because whatever matter was on the plunger is now on my floor. I think if they could take this design and make it slightly smaller, prettier and give it a stand to place it into they would really be on to something!

I purchased this plunger to keep in the basement bathroom after we refinished down there. I had no great expectations thinking "a plunger is a plunger". How wrong I was. Sooner or later, we all need a plunger and when the need inevitably arose, I grabbed this one from under the sink and 'went to work". WOW! It was so easy to use and it worked so fast. I am strong enough to use the old fashioned rubber and wood plunger but I suffer from wrist pain in both wrists so I will experience discomfort after straining. I always dreaded having to use the plunger because of this problem. Well no longer. A child could use this. It requires very little effort and it is much faster to work than the old style ones. After using this for the first time I immediately went out and bought anopther for the upstairs bathroom. I can't believe how this company reworked s simple plunger into such an easy to use design. Highly recommended.
