Brainfuse - New York,NY —

I signed my child up for Brainfuse tutoring only after the first choice became unavailable in my state. I was first told that there would be no tutoring when the children were out of school and later found out that to be false. Basically parents are left on their own to contact the agency and ask questions, nothing is really communicated unless you ask. There are weekly technical problems and there were many times when the sessions were not completed. I was never contacted about when there would be a make up time and had to initiate those things on my own. I received a call back as well as email in a timely fashion.A lot of the things that are posted on the website and was told to me originally changed often without any notification. I was told with one particular problem I encountered that this was my state's rule which again is not clear on the website and was described to me differently when I first signed up. If parents dont know what to ask there may be a problem later on. The overall tutoring is average. It is convenient since it takes place at home and is simple to use. Took a while after signing up to start the actual sessions so by the time the tutoring started it was less than a month till the ELA exam. My child needed a little bit of help and I am not sure if they would be helpful if there were more challenging problems.
