Boxer Breed Review

Hello we had a boxer since she was a puppy till she was about 11 years old. I believe cancer got her. But she was great, she was a puppy when we brought her home and my daughter was about one boy did they get along, found them both in the crate playing and once found the baby pacifier in the dogs mouth the right way like she was sucking on it.

She had a thing about chasing cars so we needed a high gate she could not get over.

She just loved people would jump on them and almost knock them over. Boxers are just so friendly and lovable and hyper, she was also protectfull of her family and she would kiss you to wake you up in the morning. she had a thing for my friends hair that she usre to put in a bun.

Once she got out of her crate and got on my bed with lipstick all the white on her face and paws where pink and so was my bedspread. she had found a way to open the crate, we had to buy a new one that was different.

we once bought baby chicks for my daughter not think they would actually make it to adults but they did and we built them a cage in the yard well Jo Jo the boxer also figured out how to open there cage and would chase them around and then of course we had to go chase the chicken to put them back.

she was even good once when our other dog got out the yard she made so much noise to let know the dog was out so we could get her back. and if she got out of the fence man what a hard time getting her back, did she run like there was no tomorrow  and wouldn't come to you when you called.

she was good in the car no car sickness and didn't mind the ride, we took her and our brittany to the local park for hikes and walks sometimes.

she ended up with a tumor on her leg the dr. thought was nothing and finally after many years it got bigger but then one day she had a huge tumor in her belly we had removed but it was only a few months later that she passed away at home with me and my hubby lucky the kids had left for school or it would have been a mess. seeing my odest daughter grew up with her since they were both babies, it was upsetting for her.

It must have bothered the other dog we had to seeing she had some problems but not long after the boxer was gone did she go to.

Anyhow in other words boxers are great and I would say if you ever have the chance and want a dog the boxer is a good way to go.
