Boxer Breed —

Our Boxer will be 2 years old in March '09. Petey is a big, healthy 70 pound bundle of energy. My husband jokes and says, 'Petey is as dumb as a box of rocks!' Sadly that is true. He loves to eat, run, play and is so hard headed. He is still such a puppy. I would say Boxers are very loving but a lot of commitment goes in their care. You need to be ready to wrestle and play rough once you consider getting one. Ours started out as a house puppy but quickly became a outside pet. He has a huge pen to run and jump in as well as being let out to run our land. Boxers will chew up anything they can fit in their mouth. They have a huge appetite also. They are beautiful, strong dogs. I consider them to be more a 'mans' dog due to the fact they are so hard to handle.
