A fan of peaty malts
If you've tasted your Macallans and Glenmorangies, and you have already broken into the peaty Islay malts like Lagavulin, you may be ready to get yourself a special bottle. If you can justify an extravagant purchase of > $200 for a bottle, get yourself the Bowmore 30 year old. I must say that this scotch is a beautifully aged scotch with a wonderful aroma, smooth as silk and a long finish. I highly recommend any scotch lover give this one a try. You will certainly not be dissappointed! I've tried every scotch known to man and private reserves that are not available to the public. This scotch ranks in my top 10, right up there with the private reserves I've had the pleasure and priviledge to experience.
