Got my son into bowling about 3 years ago. I have always loved sports, but he just wasn't into them. He started out with an 88 average, and how, at 17, has a 135 in his summer league. He loves it, and last winter his team came in second, although they did win the first half of the season. They had a great year, and worked hard for their trophies. He's so happy about getting throphies, and now is considering bowling as a possible profession. He keeps working on his average and is getting closer to having a 200 game.
